There's a high school just down the street from us, apparently they had fireworks for their graduation ceremony. It took me completely off guard as they were so close and loud and started out of nowhere. I thought the proverbial **** may have hit the fan, as crazy as that sounds.

I think that modern "prophets" would make the claim that this statement was true at the time that it was written but is no longer true. They would & have made the claim that God has shared this information directly with them. This is very common amongst Evangelicals, many of which claim to have direct conversations with God. I know several people that think they're prophets & this is what they'd tell you.

Reminder that the math used to get this dumb prediction says that to god a day is a thousand years (1000 years for us= 1 day for god)
Which means the "Rapture day" is 1000 years long, logically.

Well, if that's the case; it seems far more plausible that God created the Earth in 6000 years rather than 6 days. The fjords alone would have taken decades.

Yeah, way to take the bible too literally.... any fool should be able to grasp that 'a day for god is like a thousand years for man' is just a figure of speech. How did he pinpoint the exact date of the original deluge anyway.
