or did i miss the thread?

No, it's not just you. Though I started the subtlety train back at: "Hay guyz, I've had sex with a girl".

As to the topic, I'm leery enough about even keeping a cat to be honest, but try to think to the future along the lines of: Will your child be mocked mercilessly and resent you choosing a Really Interesting Name?
Also, I can kill you with my brain.

Kyle
Han
Mara
Leia

Luke was a whiner so count him out ;) (though nothing compared to his father!)

Why has nobody else come up with these!

I've always like Maria for a girl.

That's why we should just assign children numbers.

No, I meant like social security numbers. Each one is unique, regardless of what family you belong to.

I still like the name Tyrion, even if nobody thought it was funny.

For a boy: Cole. Good strong name, not a lot of them around, and i have an ancestor named John Marion Cole.

For a girl: Lucy. Ever since i was a wee lad, Lucy has been my fave character in Chronicles of Narnia. She has that childlike faith and wonder that we should all aspire to.

You only say Cole because you're playing LA Noire.

Haha, I didn't realize that all of the names I like are Jewish, but no I'm not at all.

Now that I think about it, what bothers me is not so much that they're Jewish, it's that they're biblical names.

Whenever I meet someone with a name like that, I can't help thinking that he/she or his/her family must be really religious.
