I wouldn't have associated any of the rhetoric that I've read in this thread with Lady ****ing Gaga. I can hardly believe my eyes. A few of you obviously have something wedged up your *******s. i was at a public establishment of questionable reputation (the mall) the other night, when some older, well off looking LDS white people (I could tell from the man's underwear) started complaining about the fact that Lady Gaga was playing on the 1MC and how bad of an influence she was so in my, state, i told them that if they want better role models they should put money towards arts education instead of legislating against homos and sending me to foreign countries to get 'sploded (landfish) (wait holy **** i AM a landfish)

the combination of a Marine defending Lady Gaga probably made them think that if they're going to *****, they should at least do it right. or something

probably not but they at least shut up so i won

i really don't get the mentality that allows someone to place responsibility for people acting poorly on someone who is famous...these people wouldn't even be famous if the populace didn't gobble up every bit of salacious gossip the media shoves at us. yeah you can argue its a viscous cycle... fine then work to end it, by changing your own behavior, not dictating what everyone else can do.

Lady Gaga did not drop out of high school. She actually got early admission to NYU Tisch School of the Arts when she was 17. She withdrew during her third semester, but not to become a gogo dancer - she dropped out to pursue a career in music. Being a musician though is not very lucrative - hence her stint as a dancer.

Also, Lady Gaga is awesome and if you disagree I really don't care.
