Had this up on my computer last night when I went to bed, hit spacebar this morning to wake my pc up and it played immediately:

Which caused me to go listen to Bob Dylan's "Tambourine Man."

Ah, the blues. The ball and chain around every English musician's leg.

This makes me want to learn play the harmonica every time I hear it. Because I reckon, when I'm down and blue I could at least express it in a way people might listen to.

Here's another one you may like:

I really like it, and my friend is a big Sonny Boy fan and has played him for me before.

My front door was unlocked for some reason and I woke up this morning with my friend standing over me making faces. Then he asked to hear this song after we talked about religion and drank coffee:

I really liked First Aid Kit when I first heard them and I still do, but it doesn't seem to me like they're willing to go any new places with their melancholic chansons, except that it all gets polished up a bit, which isn't good. Their first videos had more raw punch in the gut emotional weight, like this early version of You're not coming home tonight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94lWiYu39O4

And then Those Dancing Days came along and easily took the crown of best Swedish girl band. Who have a new album out, as my assistant here just tells me. Be right back!

I had to look at my youtube history to figure out what the first song I listened to yesterday was, and this is literally the only song I listened to yesterday, which is incredibly rare for me.

And today's wakeup tune that I doubt any of you will be into because I don't think I've ever seen any rap on Massassi ever at all:

Yes, that's Donald Glover from Derrick Comedy, Community, and writer for 30 Rock.

23rd:
Had to look in my history again, and it almost looked like the first song I listened to this morning was "I love college" which is a guilty pleasure considering I'm nearly offended by the lyrics and topicality, but thankfully it was actually Santana:

On "Maria Maria" I lived through that time (though only a child), but it doesn't mean I enjoyed it...
