Well then, it's either Silent Service, Red Storm Rising, or Subwar.

Gotta love MobyGames! It's even better than Google for game searches.

Yeah, it was Subwar. I'm pretty sure it had the obligatory "2050" tacked on the end, too. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I used to call it 'The Death Game' for no reason, even though it wasn't anyhow violent game.

An old game called Super Solvers : Outnumbered (1990), you went round a TV station, solving math challenges and zapping robots to try and defeat the evil Master of Mischief!!
The first real non-educational game I owned was Epic Megagames' little known platformer Xargon (1993), the only game ever with a hero called Malvineous. For some reason he could fire laserbolts magically from his hips, it was kinda like Jill of the Jungle for boys. I was gonna post a link to it from an abandonware site, but I'm not sure what the mods think of these sites?

My first PC game ever was Pac-Man, believe it or not. Actually, not sure you could classify a IBM computer with only a 286 CPU, 256 RAM, and only two flobby drives as a "PC".

First game I ever played was Commander Keen. Ahh good times. In my early years, I lived off shareware that my dad brought home for me. Entertainment for hours [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

My first bought game was the Lucasarts Star Wars pack. It is still, to date, the most expensive game I have ever bought, at 74.99 ! Wow, I can't believe I paid that [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] Good times though.

I love Xargon, but you forgot to mention that Malvineous was a super buff archaeologies who dwarfs Arnold and yet still fits in a submarine that size of a shoe Box, who fell through a dimensional rift, and was told by a talking eagle that his is destined to save the world... Good time… Good times…

First game I ever played was Oilswell, a sort of Pac-Man ripoff that came with my old 386. First game I bought was X-Wing, for the same system.

I remember when I bought TIE Fighter, expecting to work. Kept running out of memory, so I decided to delete some of the things that were using up the most memory. One of them being dblspace.sys [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif] Oh man, was that ever fun. Thank god the command prompt came back up, and that I had all 6 of my Windows 3.1 disks, otherwise I would have been computer-less until well after JK came out.
