I would like to see a list of members from each year by joining that have posted recently (say, since second half of 2011), or have at least been lurking. It would be intersting to see who are the longest time members that are still active.

I barely ever played it to begin with. Never touched the multiplayer, never tried mods, just finished the single player of JK2 and JKA once each.

I found Massassi in January of 2000. Joined the forums some time after that under a different nick. Definitely been 12 years since I first came here. I guess if you go by 1998-2000 as old timers, that makes me one. I've been on here for so long, but I lurk more than I post. I guess I'm a little more active in the chat, but I'm usually doing something else, so I just sort of check in every so often. Definitely read the forums every day, though.

I check in on my old member almost every night.

When the forum got changed to a 'modern' forum, it took me so long to adjust. I hated it and thought it was stupid. I thought it was the dumbest thing that threads got bumped to the top every time someone replied to them. I couldn't find stuff anymore.

Anyone else remember JK Outpost? That's pretty much the only JK-related site I visited back in 1998-1999, it had plenty of SP levels that never resurfaced anywhere else.

Are you talking about Outpost D34? If so, I used to frequent that site as well. I probably frequented JKMAG more than anyplace back then. The site was actually given over to me in the end (after Chyren left) but I only did a few updates, though I maintained the forum for a bit (until I had to close it due to Network54's weak spam controls) & had a successful JK tournament in #JediKnight on IRC. Playing with the player group for said site via ICQ, jediBoard, Recon Droid & Qtracker were probably my best memories with JK & MotS.

I haven't checked my 1998 backup CDs in years but quite many of those "JK Outpost exclusive" levels I had copied from those seem to be available on TACC as well (including Mission to Dante Four and Siege at Vol Kanst, missing stuff like Hidden Legacy).

It's a shame what happened to Outpost D34, though. I really wished that at least SWTTC had survived. According to Burrie, he used to have a quite complete build of it on his old HD but at some point he had to reformat it. Quite a shame, supposedly the Hoth level was really ace.

I remember some REALY old sites, including a jedi knight humour page (which had its last update before the game even came out, as there were many referances to JEREC being the one with two lightsabers), and another page called jedi knight file archive.

Also, who remembers the so-called, "total conversions" which just turned kyle into a random enemy from the game (which with the gob explorer, you could easily make your own, just copy all the files from the model you want, and rename them to replace kyle, though doing it like that did turn the MP models into things that make the T1000 before he fell into the molten metal look intact.).

Active august 1998 till about 2004 I guess. Semi-active till around 2008. Since then I just pop in to scan the discussion and showcase forums every now and then, mostly out of habit and the fact that Massassi is the first bookmark on my FF toolbar.

The join dates aren't accurate. We switched forum software in late 99 and not everyone immediately re-registered.
