No, I would rather you say "I hate what these people are doing to me but I understand that their actions should have absolutely no impact on my beliefs since they are two totally different things. Also, even if I still don't choose to believe in Christianity, I admit there is no reason to hate those who do, because they have their reasons for believing what they believe just as I have mine."

I never hated/disliked Christianity/Christians before I met them and and started to learn about what they believe.
Sharl is a christian, but has hurt me more than any person I have ever met, and she and others i have met use it to make themselves feel superior to others, and make me feel bad and guilty without knowing it. But if they were semi intelligent they'd know how it makes us feel. But i guess I'm just unlucky with meeting the right people.

Well, as I mentioned earlier this was never really about religion but about laughing at a stupid site.

There is nothing personal or flaming about it. Honestly, I don't know if I can consider myself a Christian. To tell you the truth, I really don't know what I believe at this point... it just burns me up when people attack other people's beliefs. If there's a marble in a box, and you say it's blue and your buddy says its red, thats your beliefs. You'll never know the answer, and you each have your reasons for believing it, and you can argue about it all day long and you'll never get anywhere. So why attack and hate eachother over it? I have Christian friends, I have non-Christian friends, I have Christian friends who are friends with non-Christians... Live and let live, right? The way I see it, there is no reason why one group should try to attack or hate the other group, and I would even go so far as to say there is no reason why one group should try to convert another group. You can teach all you want, but your focus should be on teaching about your religion, not focusing on converting people. Let them believe what they believe. As many religions as there are out there, the fact is chances are you're wrong. No matter what you believe. I think I'm rambling now... maybe I should go to bed. It's late.

I think you've gotten a misrepresentation.

I've got as many reasons to hate atheism as you do christianity. But I don't, because I know it's dumb to paint an entire group by the actions of a few morons.

ok, that's pretty true, it means two things
#1 I should let my anger stop before I say too many wrong things, and chill for a bit
#2 it means Jon may be a moron. he made a HUGE amount of effort with me, as a potential friend, like meeting places and stuff, when he thought i was a chritsian. then he found out i wasnt. but he still made an effort. But after a while, he realised he couldnt convert me, and gave up.

1 - I still don't understand why you're angry at religion
2 - sounds to me like Jon did what I was saying... you teach a person to put out the ideas of your religion. If they sound good to that person, they'll accept them and believe them. If they don't... well, it's a take it or leave it sort of thing. And from what you just described, sounded to me like Jon told you his beliefs and you left it. No big deal, your choice...

I'm really confused on the problem here, and why you think you need to be angry at religion.
