Kroko, why did you revive this post? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

I haven't read the rest of the thread, so forgive me if some of this is covered.

To summerize what DSettahr quoted in my words, "It will SUCK."

I'm sorry, but the trilogy is now a set of CLASSIC movies. You DO NOT go shoving all sorts of new crap into them and redoing scenes in CGI just because. You also DO NOT go and rework the original trilogy to fit in with the prequels. You do just the opposite. In that entire list of crap I saw maybe three (3) things I actually thought might be good. Star Wars was the first movie I ever saw. I've kinda grown up watching them. To see this kind of crap being done to those three movies is STUPID. The Special Edition was justified. It added content that was meant to be there from the beginning. This is not. If he wants to do that, why not just refilm the whole damn thing.

... I have to go do something else now. That's how POed I am about this. If I go any further, it won't be G rated.

... I feel dumb now after reading the rest of this and seeing how old it is.

I wonder how I missed it....

I was not the one who revived this, by the way.

I have the funniest feeling this release is the soundtracks themselves, not the DVD editions.

Star Wars hasn't been availble seperately for ages now. Why would they start now?
