Weird stuff happening in the aftermath:
The SNP's membership has more than doubled since Friday making them the 3rd largest political party in the UK, and they only actually operate in Scotland. [We're only 8% of the country!]
I'm really looking forward to seeing how many people flee their traditional "vote labour cause they're not the tories" mindset, as apparently the SNP can win 19 of their Westminster seats with only an 8% swing, and they're leading them by 10% in a poll released yesterday. It's also going to be really interesting to see how this effects the Greens and fringe parties seeing as the Tories are toxic north of the border too, and the Lib Dems completely **** the bed when they formed the coalition in 2010.
