I'd forgotten about the two audition threads - they're both pretty old (from months ago, I think), and there were so many mp3s posted that it got to the point where they were basically crashing my computer.

The thing is, Krig and Sajn are both really good, both at acting and at recording high-quality audio (for instance, I recall that your sample had a bit of that 'pop' sound). However, feel free to post some samples of what you'd like to do (Ares, for example).

As for the status, Geb needs to contact Mollybee and I/Geb/Baconfish needs to contact Tony to get his waiter lines. I don't think Sajn checks this forum...I'll get after him in a while, but we're all doing this in spare time, so it may take a while. (I don't have time to check the forums on weekdays, for intance)

i redirect you to the post made by geb with my audition for Ares.

i think the pop noise really is more my need to control my breathing better. its just a little breathy, not any lower quality than krigs that i can tell. but you have the final say in it.

also, once again, post 42! yay!

I could be wrong, but I think Tracer and Krig were thinking more of a deeper voice or something. But yeah -- go for it. I personally don't want to leave all the voice acting to SAJN and Krig.

I've gotten the first 8 lines or so from molly btw. I'll try sending them to SAJN sooner than later... >.>

Actually, that's a pretty good Ares. I'm sorry I forgot about it, Ford. What kind of file are you using? I ask because it seems to be less crisp than Sajn's voices posted below, though it could be the breathing.

Would you mind posting a new reading of the Ares line in here?

I could see what i can do. that was a medium quality mp3 just for size reasons. i dont like to take up space when its just going to be discarded later. i'll do a high quality one, and we'll see what happens.

So, how much longer should we keep this baby stickied? I've been trying to get a number of girls to try and do voice recording, but with little luck -- only mollybee's been doing Losien, and it's not all of it. :(

I have the Narrator parts recorded, but not the TLTE stuff yet. Did I ever send whoever I'm supposed to send it to the Narrator audio? I don't remember.

I dunno. You could always send it to me if you'd like.

Also, for sake of getting something out of all of this, I'd suggest anyone who wants to do voice acting for any of it should just go ahead and do it -- the whole thing, if you all feel so compelled to do so.

I'm going to de-sticky this unless people object.

I really would like to see it through, but I should probably try talking to you GoY when I'm not being an *******. Need to find a way of contacting tracer too.
nope.

PMs? Or just posting? I'm around.

I don't have any ideas for women actors, though.

Yeah, I mean, I don't want all your editing/writng to be for nothing, Tracer, since you did a crapload, but trying to find female voice actresses is a real pain. :(

I told you to tie up Sugarless and Milady and prod them with sticks until they agree to do it. Or Dud, he's womanlike.

Otherwise we would be stuck doing it Monty Python. :(
nope.

S'cool Voodoo. Phate and her sister also expressed interest in doing voice acting... we'll see if anything comes out of that. :)
