Let's see. I generally keep my guitars in standard. Every once in a while I'll do Drop-D. I don't generally go any lower than that as I usually don't have heavy gauge strings on my guitar.

Standard. VERY occasionally drop-D, but that's usually for covers that require it.

In general I like to write simple songs and concentrate more on the emotion in them instead of crazy chords.

I second that. 6-string bass players... ugh

I use a lot of tunings... the well known ones, but also a lot of Sonic Youth tunings, if you have any idea what these are like.
But my favourite tuning is a really weird one I made up myself. And I'm not posting it! :p

Tuning is for chumps. Just put your strings on and play with however they end up.

Who even uses strings anymore? Everyone whos hip happening and fresh uses drumsticks on acoustic guitars.

My Barione is tuned to B E A D F# B and my Stratocaster is tuned Standard.

Mostly standard all the time, sometimes in Drop D for certain songs.

I've only been playing for 2-3 months so my reperoitoire is limited.
