I'm sorry.... I have no tolerance for knobs who design space ships for video games and think that their ill-conceieved ideas would ever apply to the real world. A bigger ship would be subjected to more stresses, on an already stressed frame. *Real world large warships like carriers are also not designed for hard acceleration*.
For someone who claims to have such incredible knowledge of Star Wars ships, he sure as hell doesn't seem to realize why the Death Stars and the Super Star Destroyers are such incredible feats of engineering.

Although in space a lot of factors are relieved, like having to deal with gravity and atmospheric pressure. But then again, you're in a vacuum, so there's whole new factors to deal with. But it's more science fantasy than fiction really. I'm not bothering going into science for a bloody video game. Or a movie. In a TV series liek Star Trek it's easier.
