Err... yeah [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] Im almost 100% sure as of now that im going to port this (and the matrix mod) to JA. Now ive got the layout for behind the main hall as seen in the first two screen, the hallways in the third, and the bar/pool table room in the fourth. Comments/questions/suggestions are wanted.

Oh yeah... uh... windows arent final for the textures, and if you have played the specialists mod for half-life, then this map might be somewhat similar to you, since they also used EtM as a guide... i think.

...Ok... first off i am sick of the Q3 engine... that doesnt mean im going to just drop this project that i started when i wasnt sick of it. Second... i was speaking of the general floorplan for the HL map. Accually HL is pretty up to par with JO. i mean it can have 32 bit textures... it has more func_ abilities, has way better AI... maybe not as good models, but other than that its almost the same. Ive also seen other people do things a lot cooler than this with HL... its veeeeerryy flexible.

Hey, you can code new entities, shmart guy, there's no such thing as "func_ abilities". And, HL does not have way better AI, you are on crack. You can do anything in Q3 that you can do in HL.

Added the elevators with the stairs around them. Of course smaller areas are harder to take screens of... so you're just gonna have to trust me. I know i still have some work on this area.

Annnnd... as you saw above, thrawn modeled me some doors/frames. i added them to the main hall... but im having lighting problems with them. Anyone know what might be causing this?

The size of the doors is reference enough. But actually, I was talking about the platform at the base of the stairs that the statue is going to sit on, it looks like it cuts off the stairs, making them too small to walk up at the base.

But whatever.

Okay... this is pretty much the level as of now. still reworking a few areas but its basically done. i can add the basement hallway once i get textures for it.

Update: All of the doors that are shut and that go to different areas now properly transport you to the proper destination. yays!

got teh bullet time working thanks to emon's pk3 and my l33t MScalc skillz. (i had to get the diameter movie-perfect, so i had to scale the size numbers by .33 :P )
