Very loosely based on The BMW R850R 1998, this is a Moter Cycle for a friends Bond-Mod, but I think it might kill JK at 2,792 Pollys.
For once I made the model as clean as I could manage. I might go through and find a way to weld a few more verticies together to bring that polly count down a bit.

I know there are some point edges, and some portions arent as detailed as they could be, but I wanted to cut down on pollys. Build Time: 2 hours.

Yeah, its for a James Bond mod we're making... in the pretitle sequence you ride it ontop of train and down a train lol, then i believe we're using it in another level...

I probably could throw together a little level for show-and tell. I've already given him a cog made by Cave_Demon that'll make the little puppy semi-drivable. It'll have to be an all forward map, where there's no way for the player to go off into the city, etc. So basically, it's forced to be linear, but it'll still allow for you to speed up, slow down, shoot rockets from it, etc. Anyone want me to make a level for it really quick? The bike will be all DFLT or some other color.

OK, so I said I didn't want to up the polly count much more... 3660 isn't THAT much more...

Added LOTS of detail to the moter-thingy parts.

Made a wheel with spokes (Took me a while to make an outline of a circle... I used an incomplete cylinder, extruded twice, then welded the center set of verticies to the set behind them. Hard work) threw in a chain too.

Added those to the handles by suggestion from many people.

Overall the bike looks MUCH better. I'm looking to see if Thrawn or someone else might make another pretty render for her?

Note these updates took as long as the entirety of the model ^.^

Um, kirb, there isnt sappose to be a chain going to the FRONT wheel. Then you cant turn!

I fixed it now, the chain-wheel and chain are in the back, and the steering wheel with the column in it is now in the front. I'm now going to repeatedly bash my head against something until I remember why in the world I put the chain-whell and chain in the front. Thanks again Jamebag.

You did an ok job on the wheels, but I still think they need a little more zing. I still think a good motorcycle needs customization. Check out some chopper sites for some reference pics.

Looks like the program used for rendering is to blame. If you look at the 'head-on' views (top, down, left, right, ect) and not the angled views, it looks fine.

Actually. You turn a bike by tilting it, not like a bicycle. Of course that's only in higher speeds, but who would ride that beast slow, anyway?
