I dunno about that Zully concrete there... while it IS an incredible texture, if it's going to be applied like that, I think that the dirty part is a bit too repitive. The old texture was a bit more ambiguous.

Yeah... i wanted one with a little less of a stain on it so it didnt stand out, but that old one didnt have any stain whatsoever, and i kinda wanted a stain since theres stains in the movie.

Sorry about that screwup with my last post (if there is an admin here, PLS delete my last post) Ahem. Anyway , the above quote gives me an idea: why not use some sort of shader to give everything an extreemly faint binary code effect (the one used in the matrix starting titles, only applied to every surface)

well... I still think you need something... Maybe add some volumetric fog that swirls as the player passes through it. Maybe some scrolling and glowing green text that splashes across the screen as the player spawns. Maybe a telephone ringing sound to accompany this...

Maybe you need to add a shifting cloudlayer in the sky... as well as blood animations to the characters etc..

heck, while you're at it, make a telepathic user interface that allows for custom-animation determined by the player as they play, so the limit of their player model's movement is only the limit of their imagination.


I'm expecting this by next Tuesday.

Wow. I am really loving the creativity! Awesome!

I assume that to simulate vehicles in motion, you will have them move in that circular track repeatedly? I didn't even think of that solution for simulation.

You might want to put some large rock formations on the insides of the track so people won't be seeing the whole map if they are on top of a vehicle like a semi. That would lag the map to hell.

Looks nice Cazor. You may have thought of this already but ill mention it anyway, a cityscape background will look better than mountains and hills and will add to the highway effect. I'd make the highway exit turn in a less sharp fashion O_o You'd have to break severely to be able to take that thing without having your car in dents. Just a thought.

Problem is, the freeway isn't in a grassy area. It's in an industrial zone. You can see that clearly enough in this picture:

There is no industrial area inside the freeway onramps and offrsmps. there are cities to either side of the freeway jumble but nothing inbetween the onramps. i dont see anything other than the onramps and the city in the background.

I think you're getting a little too technical to allow your grass to get in there, trying to find some small loophole. Anyone who has seen the movie would probably get an odd face if they looked at grass in an area like that.
