Well, unfortunatly massassi cares. So they won't post or link to any kind of file that is breaking the EULA.. Shouldn't have said anything.

Hmmmm. Well does that count for just that screenshot, or all the screenshots?

Meh... the breaking of the EULA applies to the screen with your ships.

However, if you were to submit it, they would not post it for that reason.

That, to my non-level makers knowledge, is what he means.

Not quite. A lot of files here break the EULA, and they know about them.

That's what I thought. I wasn't expecting SotW when I posted these, I was just interested in what people would say.

It is a pity Massassi doesn't do DF though.

Actually, Massassi won't post the FILE, because it contains copyrighted material... of cours,e they wouldn't post it anyways, it's not J*. :P

I've got to find my DF cd. That is gorgeous by any standards. You certainly beat the crap outta the DF designers.

Well that isn't too hard to do, considering the game is 9 years old [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I wanted to point out that the transparent bitmap for the ships is NOT directly from Jedi Outcast as thought. Admittedly, some of the ships in the group were taken from the JO graphic, but many of the ships are original renderings (like the 'rebel' transport and the air taxis.)

...uh, somehow, I think the author is probably right on the origins of his texture...

Guess who "Matt H" is?

Trust me, I created that particular texture, as shown in this screenshot, which came out before Barry joined the team. Seeing how similar it is to the JO texture, I think Barry just didn't realize its complete origins. It's no big deal.

I personally thought Jedi Outcast should have been called Dark Forces III. One should not forget their origins.

Ah hah, I missed that post.

And why is it such a big deal that JO isn't DF3? It sells better as JO, and doesn't directly have anything to do with Dark Forces other than the character. And most importantly, it's just the title of a video game.

JO is a lot closer to DF than JK is. There are many referances to DF in JO: Kyle starts the game as a mercenary working for Mon Mothma against the Empire, the "Black armour, not again" comment from Kyle about the Shadowtroopers. It even looks more DF-like than JK did, if you know what I mean.

Jedi Outcast was okay in my opinion, those references only saved it so much. Now Jedi Academy... that is what Jedi Outcast should have been.

This is very impressive for Dark Forces I must say. The civilians really add to the atmosphere.

It bugged me alittle that JO was not DF3 and for a time I tried to make a mod to change it but that was too much work.

I wish I had DF on PC, for some stupid reason I got the PS version.

That building in the center of the second shot is amazing. I mean, just... gargle.
DO NOT WANT.

Massassi will post despite copyrights being broken. Want proof? Stargate level, DBZ TDIR Mod, any JO skin with a copyrighted character... should I continue? So it really doesn't matter. Besides which, he's not doin' it for profit, so I can't see as it would matter anyways.
