Yep, finally I showcase something...

This is a JA duel map, needs some extra finishing touches, but I thought I'd showcase anyway...

Those pillars are hella sexy. Looks pretty unique compared to the dungeons I've seen. Shadows good... torches are good. If the rest of the level looks like this and the gameplay flows as good as it looks, you've got one solid level.

Although, my torch would look GREAT in this level... :-D

Looks awesome. My only complaint would be that the pillars don't seem to serve any purpose other than looking purdy.

Those pillars are al;so for holding the torches thus lighting the area, and it breaks the gameflow a little, so it isn't straight on running and slashing, but a bit more dynamic. Mpore screenshots might come today, I'm working on another area, it's lighting wasn't tht good, and that's what I'm fixing now...

I like it other than the fact that the laval stands out a little bit too much in relation to how much the fire does. Maybe add a small layer of fog above the lava to give it a steamy look. Might wanna make the round parts seperating the lava sections more organic, also, to fit with the rest of the level's theme. Nice work overall though.

Fog will be added, I was planning on doing that from the beginning. And about the organic shapes - I don't know.. I liked it myself because it was like this..

It just looks to 'bespin duel'ey to me. Everything else is organic then all of a sudden boom! lava in nice cut out shapes. Normally something that hot wouldnt melt gemetric shapes into the rock around it, it would make jagged and non-systemic patterns.

You know, you could impale pieces of meat on a large stick and put it over that grid, you'd have a nice grill ^.^ and that's a very nice looking grill.
