I felt compelled to show you guys some of the finer details that are in this map that haven't been shown too closely.

This view floored me when I first spawned and walked through this hall:

The structures of the walls allow you to jump/run clear to the top of the map, which can create some insane mid-air saber dueling. You can reach all the ledges on the surrounding walls by jumping off any pillar, which gives great depth to your offensive/defensive moves. I normally don't play sabers much, but I loved this map. You guys are going to be in for a real treat.

After the beta i can say it's really cool. Visualy great [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]. I'd make something like a second layer, but I don't know what you want from this level. I like maps where you can fight in air, too.

I think that the Lava doesn't have enough light coming off of it.. I mean, there are shadows and stuff from the fire.. but not the lava... also a BIG problem with the Lava is it is TOO red... I mean, take a look at the sun (not for too long).. it is more white than red... so if you lightened up that lava texture LOT and made alot more light coming from under the grates.. this level would be the greatest...

but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong

Well, I'm very thankful I got SotD, and what I told Kirby was a week back.. It came down to the following: "Mine wouldn't deserve SotD, since Bombshellrapture's is better." But it has been up for too long now, I think you must agree wit me on that.

About the lava, well, I personally think it looks pretty good, but that's for as far as I know, of course. I will try to increase the lighting from it - that should be no problem.

What would be **** sexy, though might slow it down... is do what Spiral said and light up the lava and stuff, but also have beams of light coming from the cracks in the grating, so it looks like... beams of light... are shining through the grating...

It's an idea I've been playing around with already, and now that I've got a new lava shader (thanks Asp!), I think that's what I'll do. But it's dogibbled hard to do...

Been doing some stuff for Quake 3, but that was mainly figuring out how the engine works. Then RtCW, but, well, I didn't like the game, really. But since the jk2editingtools were released, I've been addicted to JO (now JA),using GTKRadiant.

Well ill definitely be playing this map when it comes out and when i have JA. Knowing gothicX there are definitely bot routes. I hate that so many good MP levels are wasted by bots jumping all over everywhere. I cant play with other people though; wish i could.
