Yeah so I said I'd get this one out eventually, right? So here it is. I'm opening it up for beta testing in an effort to make sure I haven't screwed something up royally along the way... If you're gonna help out, please read the entire post.
Just to refresh your memory:
First thing's first, you can download it here. Jedi Academy duel/power duel map.
Now, keep in mind this is a beta, its not finished, and that's the point. You guys are helping me finish...
Some notes:
- There's no botroutes as of right now. Why? Because this is proving to be an interesting map to botroute.. The YT-1300 being the biggest problem, as the bots don't seem to like the idea of being able to go under and over it all at once... They get a bit jumpy.. I'm working on the botroutes but I'm not sure how successful I'll be at them...
- The performance is iffy... This is my fault, primarily due to not thinking ahead.
What I'm looking for is a myriad of other bugs, namely stuff like missing textures, places where you can get stuck and maybe can't get out, places where you really shouldn't be at all, places that might be exploited, etc.
If you find anything just reply to this thread and I'll sort it out. I'm considering all architecture to be final FOR NOW. Being a beta, this could change depending on what comes up (if anything).
So like... go kill one another and stuff.
