SINGLE PLAYER MOD.

Available in file:

New Player Model:
High polygon count, new textures, new character.

New Weapons:
2-Bryar - FNP90
High Rate of Fire.
Cock weapon first.
Fire 1: Trigger
Fire 2: Auro/Semi Switch
Fire 3: Reload

7-RailDet - Zat'nik'atel
Alien Weapon using sinusoidal electrical energy bolts.
activate weapon to use.
Fire 1 & 2: Fire
Fire 3: Activate/Deactivate

9-ConcRifle - Staff Weapon
ALien Weapon using plasma laser discharges.
Melee mode or energy mode.
Fire 1 & 2: Smack/discharge
Fire 3: melee/energy mode.

Increasing Force Skills increases weapons skills...to make gameplay more fun.

Specs needed:
3d card required ( I suggest at least 8 MB).
At least 450 Mhz and about 128 MB of RAM.

I was honored to be among some of the few to try this teaser before it's release. I must say, it's amazing. Dispite the fact that JK is behind them, the weapons look out of this world. This mod pushes JK to it's undenyable limits. The P90 is simply shocking, it's so well done. Ruthven pulls together a list of skills unmatchable by any other editor. He has the ability to model with unbeatable design and effort. He can texture anything with surfaces. And he codes. This little bundle of love will come strait to your door at the low low price of FREE. Enjoy this stuff while it lasts. Ruthven's next project will be 50 dollars at your local game store... at least I think so.

The staff was uber cool, I didn't know how to use it at first cause i skipped your info and went straight to the gob.

The zat is Uber cool... activating it and so on... nice touch, the staff... damn... I love how the energy acualy riples in the firing chamer when you activate the staff... very nice touch, the skin was most amazing...

the P90... what ammo does it use? i was trying it out in JK_Dude's old stargate level and I could not find any ammo for it, does it use energy cells in it's current form?

and the burning question, When will the level be released and does the gate acualy take you to anothe planet?

How would one go about running this single player mod?

I can't seem to find any levels that go with it or anything.

OMG! This is awesome! And I have part of it to gawk at on my hd now.

These weapons and the model are really lifelike. The fingers move, idle anims, realistic textures...oh man, keep making this. I'll bet this preview gets a 10 instantly if submitted as a mod.

I love the translucent flashes and trails and the exploding fire. That stuff is so cool.

I know you can't do much at all about the weapons going through the walls and level qeo, but it would be really great if there was a way to fix that. The gameplay and detail more than makes up for it, though .

Can't wait till the final release.

Ruthven, Ive played the bata, and Ive got a few points...

1) The P90's flashes; dim them. I get blinded everytime I shoot anything.

2) Increase the Zat's rate of fire.

3) You can keep reloading the P90, and waste all of your ammo without firing a single shot, and it bugs the hell out of me. Especially when youve only got 2 rounds left, and a full magazine, and
you accidentally hit the reload button...

4) The Staff should either be inaccurate or slow to fire, not both. As it is, its hard as hell to hit anything far off, and the fire rate is aweful. Either make it more accurate, or speed it up.

4) The Staff gives the player too much damage. The splash damage should stay - thats a good thing - but make it less dustructive to the player. If you fire on someone nearby, its more likely to kill you than them.


Other than those points, its a bloody sweet mod. My hats off to you.

Well at last!!! Ok I downloaded the file so far but I'm not sure to install JK one more time yet. Actually I play none of the JK Series at this time.

However, the stargate-mod by CR is one of the greatest Mods for JK that have been made.

Although this is not the whole mod....the weapons will rock I'm very sure of this :-)

I don't know but I would like to see the SG-Mod being converted for Jedi Academy...so I think it would get the full Honor it deserves!

The only reall thing I noticed is that if you press the third fire for the #7 alot the animation messes up... And the first primary file for it will fire, although if it's folded up other times it won't fire...

Does your host give you a decent bandwidth policy? If not, then I apologize if you recieve any high charges, because it downloaded it at 600kb/s, and I get suspicious when hosts of small'ish sites allow for unlimited bandwidth per second.

Anyway, It looks excelent. I'll test it out later today to see how good it really is...

I found someone online to play with and we were playing in Canyon Oasis.

We kinds found out that none of the special weapons, the p90, zat or the staff did any damge to me or my opponent, but the normal JK weapons killed with ease... whats up with that? has anyone else found this problem?

Ok, this is the best looking mod for JK... EVER!

Ok now for some constructive criticism:

- Bullet spray on p90 is insane, at first goes straight than goes up in a straight line, shouldn't the spray go a little more randomly around the crosshair?

-The reloading clip thing bugged me too

-when first shot of p90 is fired you cock it (realistic) but than there is a loooooong pause between that and the next bullet fired.

-Blue shooting stick (dun remember name) doesn't shoot underwater, did you mean to do this?

- Yellow shooting sticks wait period between shots varied strangely, either make it auto where you can hold it down and it fires slowly, or make it fire somewhat consitantly

Other than that I loved it. I was amazed at the quality of the guns. Amazed that someone pulled this off in a 6 year old engine.

The Zat. Its an electrical weapon, kinda like a taser. Think about this for a second... What would happen if you fired off a taser while swimming?

I can't find out how to make the staff fire... all it does it melee attack for me. The zat is pretty cool. The P90 needs mucho work. I can't say I like the whole "third fire" thing. I say just make a reload key for all the bullet weapons. Also, having to press the fire key to cock takes away in my opinion. So basically without "third fire" it would simplify things a bit. "Fire 2" for the zat could just be to open it up. Also, there are strange things with the P90... it fires up and to the right of your crosshair. If you meant this to simulate recoil, sorry. It just isn't right, because it does this in single shot mode even if I just fire off one shot! Also, the screen flashes are annoying in my opinion for both the zat and P90. Just my two credits, but you're off to a good start! That P90 model is way better than Counter-Strike's.

btw, can i use your p-90 3do or is that totally unuseable for my mod?

btw,btw, to use staff u need to hit third fire button, then you can fire using regular button. k buddy? (third fire needs to be set)

When you launch the game, go into setup. Then go to controls and then either Keyboard or Mouse. From there, you need to set up a key for 'Third Fire.' For example, I have mine setup for my third (middle) mouse button.
