The lines on the power poles seem unusually thick. In the first picture, the building in the center of the image looks odd. I think it's because the window frames in the top story have so little distance between them and the top of the roof.

The whole thing looks amazing, by the way. What is the polygon count for the car?

Do you use Jed for making the models?

@Simblimke: I think the powerlines are perfect size, maybe a lil' to big, but alot better than they were. Poly count on the bwm is only 284. But on that Mclaren, it's 2040.

@G-Man: Yeah, all JK models are made in JED.. And I could probably use beta testers in the near future. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Maybe add some architcture to the buildings? Like a trimming? The textures are great, but some more 3d on the buildings maybe add to the effect. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Yes, a couple of trimmings, like the arches in one texture, the stoor front in another, and the beams sticking out on some of the sides of buildings. Making these archi would make this map even more shwank.

That's right, I said Shwank.

Yeah, the next step is architextural detail. I was going to use 3do's to keep the visibal adjoin limit down, because that's why I can't get any aerial shots.

Use 3dos. If you can manage 1 single 3do per building, or at least per face of the building (which would probably work better due to going around corners, 3dos disappearing, etc.) would keep your thing count down to a manageable level while (hopefully) looking real neat. Go for level size, I'm definately a big fan of large sprawling levels. I'd personally ditch the powerlines, mostly because of the thing count, and because powerlines should be underground =P.

Naa, I like the power lines.. I dunno, it adds to the euro-city feel I think. Besides, I'll bet it would look barren without em.

BTW, Quib Mask... I still use all those COGs you posted all those years back. Especially that walk on walls one... that's a riot. Nothing bugs my friends out more than when they walk around the corner and see me chillin out on a wall or bouncing on my head. Thank you, Quib, for all the the good times yer cogs have given me. Got anymore??

halucid: http://everbot.tripod.com/toolbox.htm
I still use that basic walk-on-walls COG, just updated to work slightly better. The Toolbox is now in GOB form, but is still a "hack" because not everyone needs it to play; the weapons/items/force powers are all balanced against eachother and against the basic JK weapons for smooth gameplay.

Do the buildings have rooftops? Also, if you need any help with moving object COGs, want level customized weapons or items, etc., feel free to stop by the COG forum.

Well Grismath and Quib Mask, I might actually take you guys up on that I should need some coding help with a few of my ideas! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Quib, I will only make a few of the roof tops accessable because of the stupid JK engine and the visiable adjoin limit, in some parts you see HOM.
