they are ok, I'd say, scale their size down by.. ALOT, especially the imperial stadium thing. what if the speeders were drivable?

Personally, I liked Galactic Stadium and BGV , but I agree with a lot of people that room for improvement is needed such as more complexity for rooms and such.

Otherwise... keep at it!

I would recognize that orange brick texture anywhere... was that taken from 11783?

Ay yi yi yi. Don't do a BGJ remake with just textures and a few changes. Even though it sort of looks good, I wouldn't download it. I'd stick to the original. Now, if you were to add new areas, cliffs, ramps, etc (expanding the architecture in BGJ) then I'd give it a try.

As for the other levels, they're way too open spaced. I get tired of walking around all the time. You really should focus on gameplay...

Better yet, instead of just rambling on and on, plesae take a look at this website. It should make everything clear to you on what people like/don't like.

There's definate potential in many of those based on the screen shots. But I agree with the others 'to big'. The JK engine handles large areas like a champ, but that doesn't mean large lifeless, empty space is good.

I like the look of BGV and that CTFBridge one though. That cliffside one also appears to be a good start.

Shrink things down a little and fill some of that empty space. The waterfall texture in one map tiles like crap, scale that up or get a better texture for instance. Chop the top of cliffs up at the very least...like LEC did in BGJ and that VotJ tower level.

Again, definate potential.

Which orange brick texture, the only one I see looks like a JK one for sure.

Doesn't look like a jk texture to me, but it's been a while.

Yup, he is correct. I scaled it some though to make it look better.

It was originally done not only for DM but in the long run for RPG purposes, if I remember correctly...

Stadium is probably the best one. It is very open though, that is the truth.

How exactly, was it the best? It had everything a bad level has, and nothing that a good level has. There were no RPG elements because I've never seen a big odd looking structure like that in the middle of no where with buildings all lined up like that, with absolutelly nothing besides a bunch of ship 3DOs. I mean, nothing in the buildings was worth any TIME to play with. RPG maps have interactivity, as well as realistic areas to RP in.

Vader: Commander, I have come to inspect your base.

Grand Moff Hisp: Well sir, if you'll just step this way for 20 minutes, we'll walk through a tunnel which may take about an hour or so. Once we've gotten to the end of the tunnel, we can admire the view of your wonderful fleet as they reign down heavy artilery on our utmost useless and empty base.

Hate to be blunt, but I dont' want to see time spent on a level that isn't realistic or good archi-wise to begin with. A solid base is more likelly to succeed.
