Heh it's the seperations that make it stand out, which you can't do anything about. I can only suggest making his robes thinner. By a lot.

Yeah, I wasn't too happy about the cloak, I might work on it some more. I baked some shadows in, and since its a sectional model the shadows fell that way. I'll try to blend it all together better.

I can understand the problems with color and some of the detail, but what on earth possessed you to give Yoda a hoodie? :p

Excellent! As said, the hood needs slimming but other than that it's about dead on. The robes could be darker perhaps, but I haven't seen Yoda's robes in some times so I am unsure.

You should also try making a layer of thin hair on his head. Use a transparent and/or translucent MAT and you should get some cool effects. Might need to make the texture on the high res side, like 128 or higher to remove blockiness. The guys who did Yoda for JO did something like this and it looked awesome.

I think the hair should be thinner (closer to the model)

For hair that high, you naturally expect it to be fuller and less transparent.

The hair could be a tiny bit lower, and the shadow on the hood is... eh. Also, the alignment from the lowest half to the top half looks off. Slightly, but off. But holy mother of pearl, that's just simply fantastic either way. You are like a god amoung godesses.

Also, give him a walking stick.

I fixed his hair and his proportions and worked on the texture and cloak model some more. I think I'm about done with it. I'd give him a walking stick if he wasn't going to be holding guns with both his hands

Also: You should do more SW characters. This is insanelly good. We need a GOOD Chewbacca, perhaps some pit droids... omg, a rancor! Lots of SW characters need updating with new player models. Particularly, ones without the retexture and slight remodel of the JK player model.

ingame! the hair turned out surprisingly good

I would love to redo the JK models, but thats a lot of time I dont have, unfortunately. I really need to do other things for my portfolio. I could maybe do one here and there? If all the modellers around here did that we could put together a JK high res pack or something
