Scale does matter. With Smith's hand at his side the tip of the M16 is about 3 inches from the ground. In the pic, the gun is closer to you than the bulk of Smith's body - see the hands - they're pretty big, too.

I'm always surprised at how negative you people are. No wonder nothing but sketches and JK maps ever gets showcased.

Opinions don't have to be taken. You're confusing negativity with criticism for improvement. If all we did was gawk and smile, nothing would be improved.

Yeah don't take it the wrong way. It looks fantastic, it just looked a bit big to me.

You know, if you make it original, and not matrix related, you COULD use the quake or quake2 engine and make a commercial game. You just have ot follow the GNU license if you don't use a licensed quake or quake2 engine(which would cost 10,000).
However, if did want to make it commercial, you probably wouldn't want to use the quake3 engine, since that *only* costs 250,000 for a license. (Yes, I got bored and looked at this legal crap at id's website.)

we never said anything about using it..(even though it's a great engine and you have no reason to hate it) we're releasing what we have done for JA, which is on the Q3 engine, but thats just the mod. the game will be on the darkplaces engine(modified quake(one))

Just don't release it around the time Path of Neo comes out. Unless you like lawyers (which I don't). Why? Like people above have said, the game creators probably wouldn't like that. Unless, of course, you get Warner's blessing in this...;)
