I've started a Matrix mod for JK 1 and I've got a few things done... I've decided to post the Neo skin I'm working on... its just Yun with a new face texture, there is more to change. Also, you can read another one of my descriptions at my Editor Corner, and it also gives an explanation to a few things, and yes, I have upgraded to Windows XP.

How about we keep this from turning into another Massassi MMORPG ok? Actually finish it, and don't rip anything and if Massassi starts giving you crap, continue to work on this and just don't showcase anything.

Oh..and...I don't really think that's enough completed to justify showcase. Complete some more and then show us.

Pretty soon I'll have an updated pic, I'm almost done with the head, I had to redo the entire face to match the other textures so it might look different.

EDIT: Now I have to redo them again because he looks like he fell into a pile of crap, my fault.

Here is the latest version, I've finished his head, now for the clothes. I know I the first face looked more like him, but I couldn't get the other textures to match with it, even though I'll keep on trying.

Dude, why not make a whole new model instead of reskinning the boring old JK models. You used that modeling program for your MMORPG (whatever happened to that), why don't you try to make a whole new Neo model, with his cloths and everything.

When I do models, I take an existing model and study it for hours, I plan on replacing the fists with better ones, and you must remember the limitation of the JK-1 engine.

No, its just that I couldn't make it like in JK 2 which I don't want to get into because I haven't tried there, but I fully well know what I could do there.

I actually like your skin job so far, but I'd have to agree that a new model is a must in this stage of JK editing.

For god's sake, its always the same old bull**** with u gold...You get some idea in ur head, get way ahead of yourself, and want instant praise by posting even the most tiny little start to your project. Wow you half skinned Neo's face and already posted a showcase? Thats all you ever do...You spend more time writing up detailed descriptions for the threads then doing work. YOU HAVE YOUR PRIORITIES BACKWARDS. Just like with that damn game...you do the most tiny ltitle thing and then post a grandiose thread detailing your immense project. ITS SO ANNOYING. DO WORK FIRST, THEN SHOWCASE IT. NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR ELABORATE "PLANS" UNTIL YOU SHOW US YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET ALOT OF GOOD STUFF DONE.

That model actually looks quite awesome, just not in a .... realistic .... kind .. of . way...

But hey, if you're trying to emulate the Grim Fandango look, then A+

The most recent model looks like something you'd see on one of those bowling score animations. If you want it to look more realistic, look at this shot of neo.

No offense man, but the costume isn't the problem. He doesn't look human. Among other things, he'd have to have pipe cleaners for limbs to fit into that coat. :p

That's a little better but he's still way too skinny. make the whole body wider and the arms & legs fatter.

The shoulders don't look right at all (too flat) but it's definatly progressing.
