What do you think of my level?

If that's what this guy's up to, he's got way too much time on his hands. I won't jump to conclusions though.

You might be right Fardreamer. This guy posted shots from a map several months ago, yet he deleted the links to all the images the day he posted the shots for these maps. Sounds fishy. Plus, reading the rest of the posts on the "Apricot Thread", one would wager those original screenshots were of a level that was pretty well crafted. I never noticed the thread myself, so I don't recall.... but considering the praise he got from that map, he might not be the n00b he claims to be...

Whatever the case, he was skilled on June 24th. Someone skilled wouldn't post degrading rubbish like those first few shots on THIS thread.... unless he was up to some good ol' classic MaSsAsSi ScAnDaL!! WoooOOOOOoo!!

As much as I'd like to take credit for this, Freelancer != Fardreamer :p

But I can't blame you, I get mixed up myself sometimes! "Hey, when did I write this?"

The old, unedited post is still in the google cache.

Here are his posted images:

http://www.massassi.net/ec/images/16128.jpg

These images aren't in his EC account, which only has pictures from this thread:
http://www.massassi.net/ec/view.php3?user_id=7931

Which begs the question, what account name has the apricot pictures?

The attached images further down were pruned a while ago.

A mirror of the google cache page incase it updates.

I thought this guy improved suspiciously fast.

Can an admin do an IP check to see if this guy has any other accounts? I'm just curious.

Haha, no need for that Mega! ;)

I had you guys pretty good for a while there, as Freelancer said, you're way too gullible! :D

Well, all for a bit of fun you know, I was seeing how long I could play it out, but I figured someone would start thinking about it reasonably at some point. A good run, all the same. :p

I really don't find it amusing, sorry. You "fooled" us into thinking there is in fact such a creature as a newbie who doesn't suck and can write properly phrased sentences. Big deal.

I do like the user name though :)

To be honest Daft, the only guesses I'd have made for your true identity were either you, Trige, or Xzero.... (don't you remember that wise-crack I made about your tutorial?) These guesses were made upon the slightly above average skill level you all share... which happens to match the level of skill in these shots.

Had I have seen "Apricot" sooner, I'd have known for sure. It has you all over it. From the cleaving style right down to the tinting technique I taught you.

Well, in his defense, he really did make those maps. Now I'm sure Daft will redeem himself by submitting all of his "Crappy Coupon" maps.

I put made in quotations because he didn't really put effort into it-- He merely made it as part of the prank, trying to make us think he actually made it. Like, MADE made it. :p
