Ok these are probably some of the only pics you have ever seen of my attempt at level making. Only started about 3 months ago.

For those of you asking - "OI RUTHVEN, WHERE THE BLUDY HELL IS THE MOD THEN?"...
...well, it was completed. Unfortunately, 130 megs unzipped, with 1300 files, Jedi Knight exe didnt like it. A little something called the resource limit. Its being worked on by Sige and Hell Raiser, hopefully a patch will be made so my mod can work.

I COULD upload the mod right now, but you wouldnt be able to play it, since it'll either crash, or 70% of it wont work due to the JK limits. :(

I continued with the levels anyway, and a smaller more efficient mod can be added into the project, with more chance of working, with or without the special patch for removing limits.

Anyway, less talk. More action.

Those are some beautiful models and textures! As for the archi, that too is quite well done. My only gripes with it are that one over-used texture and the poor lighting in parts (you know, where those wall cleaves become visible). This still remains on of the few mods I can't wait for!

I'm giving the level to Grismath (hopfully) when i'm done with it.

Seeing as how he's better with cleaves and lighting than I am, he should be able to fix it.

I tried sige's special lighter plugin, but it didnt look right. Its not meant for this kind of level.

Also worried about adjoins and thing limits.

Even tho theres a patch to remove them, my system still locks up sometimes, Zanardi's level, for example :s

OH and btw, those pics were resized, brightened, and occasionally sharpened.

Cos i'm used to being a cam hoe, my screenshots are cam hoes too ;)

The crappy lighting and JK's low resolution textures don't do those lovely 3dos any good.

Especially since he could do a proper shader on the warp gate :D

You know, I haven't been following this mod. Do the helmets do that sexy chink-chink-chink-chink up and down thing like in the movie, or just that dull thudding click thing like on the show?

-Either way, the gate is very sexy looking. For a giant vagina, that is.

That reminds me, I just recently discovered that the Hebrew word for female "Nekeva" actually means "holed". So as far as the bible is concerned, women are in fact big walking holes. :p

ok, i think i just increased complexity by about a GAJILLION times :eek:
Fortunately, i reckon it looks similar to HL2 and QIII and that sorta thing :)

I doubt many will catch this, so I'll say it, amazing detail, especially w/ the shadows for the piping. However, in the 3rd screenie, it looks like the loudspeakers are floating.

I'm still amazed how details and amazing this looks. :eek:

Oops. yeh, the thing should be closer to the wall.

80% of my pipe models are set to collide=0. Cos otherwise, you catch yourself on the pipes, since JK's lousy physical contact laws and all.
