Yeah I wasn't too proud of that design choice. i added more cool stuff like dusty light beams n such down hurr, but I'm at the wrong house so I can't work on it/post pictures tonight. Or tomorrow. :[

Me likey just for the fact it's something which is editing and Jedi Knight/DF Series, but I'd have liked it nonetheless, I find it creative.

I sorta like the "channeled in" structure you got going. I suggest you should continue that theme in some form more on. More!

If you continue it, you could make the level eventually take you up higher in this area so that you'll actually see the detail.

The cloth in that last shot is defying gravity.

Splendid architecture and brush work, very detailed. Just a minor complaint: I'm not too sure about those flags. They're not harmonious in style with the rest of the area.

Yes.

But try to use cg_drawgun 0 and cg_draw2d 0 next time you do screencaps. It would make them look nicer.

Thats surprising to hear. Hammer seems incredibly intuitive, and has pretty good documentation online to help out new users.

Either way, those shots look great!

try again. i couldnt hammer properly either for a couple weeks. after a month something just clicked and im faster at it now than i was with radiant. it's so much more rewarding to make great looking levels in source.

I haven't figured out how to make that work... can someone give me the code I need to copy into Radiant to make the -patchshadows compile work? I tried simply adding the command to one of the existing compiles but it didn't work...

it's a shader effect that you can turn on in JA. It's called Dynamic Glow.
