That talk of the migranes was kind of freaky, now that it's the present and we all know what happened.

We should still end on a positive note. Does anyone remember the brain scan pictures and the manbabies? I think it'd be great to end on a positive note on how he enjoyed everything like that.

Archeologists near Mount Sinai have discovered what is believed to be a missing page from the Bible. The page is currently being carbon dated in Bonn. If genuine, it belongs at the beginning of the Bible and is believed to read "To my darling Candy. All characters portrayed within this book are fictitous and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental." The page has been universally condemned by church leaders.

A tragic situation. I'll help in however way I can, with hosting, web-space, or anything else. I might have Beta-builds of his Acid level. I helped through all of that. If you need them or anything else, email me.

Id like to, but I don't think I'd have enough time to put the amount of work it deserves into the project. If you really really need anyone else for anything, let me know and I'll try to make some 3dos or something, I could make an awsome MaDa Tombstone.

If anyone wanted to put a tombstone in their level (it might be hard to do tastefully), one of MaDa's last textures, if not the last, was an *astounding* tombstone texture..

If someone else would like to orgonize a JO/JA memorial, I'd be happy to convert the textures for JO/JA. I don't deal much with .PK3s, so that's out of my league.

Thank you all for your great response to this idea. I really think we can do something sensational with this.

But we NEED textures. Currently (I haven't checked all my e-mails yet) we only have the 11 mega supplied. I'll be uploading them to my own server for compairison later.

And I really don't think I can allow coffins or tombstones. Even if it's done tastefully, I don't want to have to send the levels back to those who didn't manage it tastefully.

Remember, we're doing this to remember a great guy, so make great levels. That's how he'd have wanted it. Great levels, great textures, great community, great guy.

I have a lot of MaDa's textures (if not all of them)...

Unfortunately, I'm not very good at organizing things because I dumped them all into one directory with all the other textures I have. I'm going to sort through them and see if I can't organize them.

Argh.... if that stupid web archive site would have at least saved the thumbnails this would be a lot easier...

I'm sure I'd recognize most of his textures. I'd like to make sure we've got his textures though, and no one elses. So if you're questioning one, send it in under a different dirrectory, and I'll post it here for identification.

Thanks Raven.

i think if you guys can send the textures to MZZT he'll put them up on the New LimeLite
(btw, the domain is registered, MaDaVentor.net but there's no hosting set up yet; brian is taking care of that. big thanks to Bri!)

if anyone has stuff like pictures of the scars, copies of his old posts etc i'd like to have them for the site.

EDIT: kIRBY: pk3s are just .zip files that have been renamed (at least when it comes to editing they are)

This is awesome. I'm sorry I can't help. I mean, I know basic (very basic) JO/JA editing, but I dont think I can make a good level. I'm sorry I'm no help. But I still think this would be the soul of JK/JO/JA if we post it on every JK site we can.

Well... this really sucks. I remember right clicking and selecting 'Save As' for the longest time on MaDa's site, grabbing everything in sight. But alas I don't have as many textures as I thought I did [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] Where did they go? Who knows...

Here is what I have though...

http://www.phoenixknights.net/downloads/madatex-02.zip
http://www.phoenixknights.net/downloads/madasubway.zip

madatex-02 is just a collection of all the textures I extracted from his levels.

I actually used one of Mada's textures to help me form the background to one of my clients websites. Check it out...

That's... Amazing MrRavenX... That speeds up my job greatly. I realize this is only a small portion, but it's certainly more than we had :-D

I'm wondering if anyone would like to help cut the tedius work of converting to .mat, and from .mat to .jpg for the JO/JA Memorial.

Come to the chatroom and poke d-_-b and I'll give you some work to do :-P

Sure thing Freelancer - no problem - let the editors do the editing, the skinners do the skinning, the 3do creators do what they do best (mess around in JED [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]) and the coggers will do the cogging [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]. As they say - you build the base and we'll create the effects [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I believe we can all pull together to make this something that Mada would truly be proud of, as well as being a fitting way for Massassi to remember a special, gifted and unique individual [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

* /me gather all of Massassi together for a big "family hug" - even Yecti, in his entirety [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif] *

I don't know does this have to do anything with the Memorial Site, but I've collected some saved html-files related to MaDaVentor, like forum threads and some chat statistics (there's not many of them)...

Download it from here if you like..

(As for the Web1000-server... I don't have any better [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] )

As for a tribute level... I don't know if I'm able to do anything in memoriam to MaDa... I'm sorry, maybe on later date (if I can post anything by that time)...

Actually, now I'm in the mood of composing something dedicated for MaDa... I already have ideas for the instrumental song, but it takes some time for me to compose it.

This project is seriously great. Thanks, Kirby (again).

I'm having trouble obtaining a copy of JK. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] I tried EB, Software ETC, CompUSA, and Best Buy, and none of them had it. The guy at Software ETC was a friggin' JERK. EB's computer said they had a used copy of JK, but we weren't able to find it in their disorganized pile of used games.

I found a mint condition copy of JK on ebay for $5, but my PayPal account won't be set up for a couple days. In the meantime I'm reduced to using my old MotS CD to run Jed. (Of course, I can't test my level because MotS requires JK to run). Even worse, my computer is having DirectX/hardware conflicts, and I can't run the 3D preview.

But don't worry, MaDa, I'm slowly slogging through it, though everything seems against me..

Well, If I had the editing expeirnce with JK.. I would of made a few levels, However I am on straight to JO/JA editing. Jedi Kirby, Amoung other massasians. If you feel free to incorperate a JO/JA section. I would glady do it on my own. Some things like modeling sure may be a stick in the mud. But I would gladly appreciate to do any JO/JA projects. Sorta like a converstion thing. And in memorium of mada. We should make a Sp story. Knowing this thread will be massed with msg's. E-mail me if you like to do such a project in name of mada aka adam. Its jatso_jk@hotmail.com and if there will be a SP story, for JO/JA. Some side info of his personality will be exemplary. Thank you for this idea. God bless and god speed!
