I liked it. I think I appreciated it only because I watched like all the original series episodes a few years ago, and I own all the movies. Many aspects from those were incorporated in the game, and people who actually remember that stuff, or who who have watched the original series (30 years old) and actually like videogames is a very small number.

I enjoyed the game very much, while somewhat linear, it had a very good system of giving new challenges and giving better ships, upgrades, etc. It was worth the rent IMO.

I think it's considered unpopular mostly because the passion for Star Trek has died out in the last 5-10 years, and not very many people enjoy it.

Think about it, would the Lord of the Rings games be any good if they didn't have Lord of hte Rings onthem? I think they'd be considered just another attempt to license a franchise that didn't work too well.

BTW...bump (wheres duo?)

Here we go. This is about the only game I have installed at this time, its not the best, but it takes up my free time good enough. And because I don’t want to take up everyone else’s time, some starter hints:

1. This game is Very new and IS out as a full version.

2. It is for the PC.

3. The Voice Acting in it SUCKS, BAD... REALLY BAD... I mean this is the worst Voice Acting I have seen in a very long time...

Happy Guessing
