The "Search by Keyword" seems to be searching only the last few days (on the Main Editing and Cog forums). I have tested using various dates and various keywords.

(The "Search by User Name" seems to work correctly.)

The update search index function takes about 8 hours. I'll try to remember to do it tonight. once that is done, searching should work properly.

Hmm.. Another annoying thing I've noticed is that we can't see the emails of people in their profiles anymore. We can only email them through there.

Which is all fine and dandy... but it can also be annoying if you want to hold a prolonged correspondance with another person.

And I still don't like how you can't just start typing when you hit reply... You have to tab once or twice.

I do not know if this is a problem or not, but with all the custom titles we have, how does one distinguish admins/mods from normal users? Granted the veterans of this place pretty much know who every mod and admin is but the newer folk (yes we get them) do not know who's who. Is there a way to make a distinguishing feature for admins and mods in their posts to flag who they are?

I'm going to unsticky this topic. I'll go through this list in a few days and take care of outstanding problems. If, after another week or so, you're still experiencing problems, send me an email or a private message and I'll look into it.

Search does only display new posts so far. You aren't telling me that all the old posts are gone, right?

They're not gone, they're just not searchable. I need to update the search index but it takes FOREVER.
