Pre-disclaimer: I'd like to make this a legitimate and serious topic. Women can speak about breast augmentation and it be a conversation about morals, confidence, and effects. We as guys should be able to talk about penis lengths, and so forth without getting out of hand.

That said, I'm really interested to hear if guys are as self conscious about their manhood as a lot of my friends. Now that a lot of them have girlfriends, and are becoming sexually active, they're overly conscious about the length of their penis, and their ability to deliver results for their girlfriends.

Does size really matter? Do women honestly prefer a specific size (Not just bigger) over another? Should guys worry about it THAT much?

Lengthening procedures for males are quite simple, and pretty cheap (As opposed to breast augmentations). Would you seriously consider having your penis lengthened, shortened, etc? I mean, it's not like it's an object out there for all to see, like breasts, but since men are so keen to pissing contests, I'd assume that a man's confidence would rise with a longer, or more sculpted penis?

Again, while this may sound silly and absurd, and asking for jokes, I'd really like to have a serious conversation about it. It seems it's not a usual topic for guys in our age range.

Knowing what you're doing is far more important than size. In order to know what you're doing, you have to know what the girl wants, what makes her howl, so to speak.

I'm slightly below average, I don't care. An extra inch or so wouldn't hurt, though.

I'd say it's more an issue of guys being afraid of getting ridiculed by other guys based on thier size... But women don't really care...... I think.

I actually saw a bit about lengthening procedures on The Man Show. A good half of the penis is still within the body, and so they simply make some incisions, pull it out, and use donated skin grafts to replace the removed skin.

So when you donate organs, just think of what they might be going to.

As for elevated levels of confidence, I think (for some guys) it would. I won't say that I've never been insecure about the size of my penis, my level of confidence doesn't hinge on that. Other guys' does.

But doesn't the size of the willy sort of mean there is "more of it?" A bigger one would probably catch the attention of people because of its "appearence" more than a shorter one. Getting the attention of females is seen often in nature. Males want females to think about them so, in some cases, they need "remarkable feature" (such as a huge private). Why is a man often attracted to big breasts? Because they grab the eye.

I like smaller breasts (B or BB).

Large breasts is predominantly popular in North America, but if you go further south, a larger behind is of more importance than breast size.

Oh, and fun fact: shortest erection on record is 2 inches, longest on record is 16.

Actually, men are attracted to big breasts because they signify fertility. A woman with big breasts is more likely to be able to feed her children well than one with small breasts. Of course, nowadays, this train of thought isn't always true (for instance, a lot of guys prefer 'petite' women), but it still holds somewhat true at least.

Yoshi, no. When I see someone hot, I don't think 'now they could easily feed babies well with those breasts, therefore I think she is hot'... more like 'I'd tap that'.

But it has to do with nature. Naturally, you can't ignore your lusts. Those natural needs are according to fertility.

probably not. Although you can increase your size by a few years worth of jelq excercises (the pills, etc. are bulls*** from what i've heard) that guy probably wouldn't get too much out of it.

I can contest on the non erect and erect thing. My penis is quite small when unerect, but it's fully erect size is about 6 and a half inches long. I consider that inproportionate, considering myself being 3'4" tall. But my non-erect size seems to be proportionate to my body.

Also, from what I've heard from Loveline(that trumps The Man Show :p), having those operations can make it so erections are harder to have. I can't remember exactly what Drew said about that issue, so if someone knows, please post.

Generally a man will prefer a woman who's slightly shorter (in terms of height, got to be careful in this thread) than him, if both the man and woman are fairly well-proportioned then size shouldn't be an issue.

Some women are small 'inside' some are larger, pick your partner well and everything should be good.

If this is about penis length, let me just point out that most women don't have a 9 inch deep vagina so having a penis that big is useless unless your woman likes pain or you are a sadist.

But don't you see--it's ingrained in us so we think that it's not a primal reaction. But think about it. Just saying "omg she's hawt" is quite ambiguous. Why is she hot? Because she has big breasts? If you think about it, the only real reason to be attracted to big breasts is based on fertility.

Sorry to science it up, but just had to point it out.
