The charred one was a photoshop job. The body was fake but the head was a makeup test of Anakin burn damage, and a gruesome on at that.

The assembly of Darth Vader one (If I'm thinking about the right one) was concept art, but I agree, the trailer reflected that one nicely.

What the hell is with Vader's pose, though? Put your arms like that and shake your hands a little. Dont you feel like a stupid person excited by something?

hmm, looks like we can look forward to lots of light saber battles... Windu appears to fight someone... could be dukoo, palpatine or evil anni... it's someone with a red saber tho... windu gets to fight! yay

Windu gets to die... Spectacularly with a blaze of glory, most very likely.

He fights Palpatine and Anakin , from what spy reports have said so far.

Looks quite promising. Maybe it will be a good movie, after all.

Must say that I really like the overall look. Adventure, epic battles, dark side, Vader, you name it, this teaser seems to have some of it.

I really like the initial shots where you merely saw all the characters. Seeing Chewbacca(I assume) and some other wookiee looking up at something gave me goosebumps. Good to see the ol' wookiee again. And the following shots once Vader's establishing shot was there were just wild. Space battles over Coruscant(never actually expected to see a battle there), Yoda igniting his saber once more(which I actually think looks pretty cool, despite having seen him do it in Episode 2), lightsaber battles(mace against some bloke, Obi-Wan/Anakin, yadda yadda), Wookiees rising to fight a battle(I love that shot, the way that the chief(I take it) is giving some signal and all the wookiees standing up to fight), space battles(the two capital ships firing at each other looks good, always loved it when I saw that in the old X-Wing series), all sorts of cool stuff, and naturally, that final shot of Sidious slashing with his saber at something on the ground. When I watched the initial frame of Sidious, I really was surprised how bloody scary he looks. The guy's mental. Looking forward to see the old ROTJ-personality in Sidious again.

All in all, I like it, and definately looking more forward to Episode 3.

It looks good, but...I swear that shot of Chewbacca and the other wookie are in CG....

Who would bother with all that fur in CG? I looked in Insider once and saw some Wookiee suits and bowcaster props being made in a photo. So that's a good sign that they'll do the tried and true men in hot, sweaty yak hair suits. :p

I believe they did something similar to FOTR, they filmed a bunch of people (basketball players) and Peter Mayhew in the Wookie costumes them duplicated them a hell of a lot.

Meh. I don't see why people complain about the CG. It looks fine to me.

Watched it. I can't say I'm excited. I absolutely HATE 'flash, flash, flash, flash' trailers. You have to freeze frame it to see what the hell is going on. The effects look pretty good, but when have they not? My main concern is you got a load of flashy effects in that trailer, but right at NOTHING about the plot of the film, other than what we already know from the OT.

I'm seeing this as possibly being another AotC. Plot = 'meh'. Effects = 'cool'. Last 45 minutes to an hour = 'OMQ UBAR!'. See it two or three times, and the intrest is lost.

Did anyone else catch how totally FAKE the clones looked? I never noticed that until just now. They seem far too perfect, and the materials just don't look quite right.

I dunno... I'll remake my opinion once I see a newer trailer.

It's a teaser trailer. Look at the first AOTC teaser "Breathing." Nothing there. TPM's had a little bit of plot, but just a smiggen.

What clones? And also, your seeing a low resolution, remember in the E2 trailer with the star ships on Coruscant and the clones getting loaded on to them? Well many people thought that was Geonosis. Just to remind you how things can appear, but what they actually are is different.

it was ok, Two towers Trailer gave me more goosebumps.. maybe it was the music. then again thsi doesnt show me much plot wise. they could of showed some more interesting shots too. then again after those last 2 films im not much of a star wars fan anymore.

Cool, they have a ship that looks like the X-wing.

Yeah? And for a Teaser Trailer it wasn't great. I've seen far better. The Lord of the Rings Teasers gave you the same amount to look at, but also hinted more at what was going to happen. That's what I want to see. I want some HINT as to what is going to be happening. There was virtually NONE of that in this trailer. Furthermore, for the people who didn't read the LotR trilogy, the few hints of plot that were given usually raised a number of questions. Enough to keep you interested. This trailer didn't do that either.

In short, I expected a bit more. I'll wait and see what the official trailer brings.

This however, for someone who has never seen the original and has no idea whats going on, would be shocked to see Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting. For a teaser, it does show some stuff.

Uh, most people already knew what was going to happen with LotR. They could draw a connection between what they saw in the teaser and what they'd read in the book. You ought to be able to get the basics of the story based on the original trilogy.

The whole what, two people?

No more sleek ships to model. All the ships looked like they were bodged together on an episode of junkyard wars, but that is the trend to the original trilogy.

The firefighting ship was neat.

I think they are starting to show the transition to industrialization. The Empire is very industrialized. For instance: Stormtroopers and things like that.

Personally I like the transition to the classic ships.

I want the bluescreen miniatures back.

Do people expect to see many main plot points in a teaser trailer? If we had seen people fighting each other through the whole thing then it would have that "oh **** now we know who fights who through the whole movie" feel to it. Do you really wanna know for sure who Windu fights? I don't think so. Do you really wanna see Grevious in action? No I don't think so. They need to save some of these things. And after all, it's a teaser. It's not supposed to show alot. The teaser for Terminator 3 showed metal dripping and then forming into a T3 symbol. End. It is basically just to let the average joe, when he's in the theater tomorrow watching the Incredibles, that the movie is coming. So he looks up and says "oh hey another star wars flick. Cool." Instead of not knowing about it. Believe it or not, there ARE people that don't know alot about Star Wars, and don't care alot about it either. They don't know Obi Wan and Anakin fight in 3, and they don't know alot of the things we saw in this trailer.

So stop complaining, or what is next? You going to start talking about how Lucas should do everything to suit you? Oh wait, half of you already do that.

Ummm... if people never saw any of the Star Wars film before and have no clue what is what, then how could this teaser hurt them? If they don't know who Obi-Wan and Anakin are, seeing them fight in the teaser doesn't rally spoil it for them.
