I beat HL2, took me 13 hours, WHEE.

All I have to say is, INCREDIBLE. ESPECIALLY near the end.

This game officaly R0X0RS J00 B0X0RS!

I am just in the entrance to go to ravenholm, and MAN the gravity gun Is awesome!
So far, the game is awesome. However the Dune Buggy bit with the helicopter chasing you got a bit... repetitive, but so far thats my only complaint.

Oh yeah, Lamar= Teh pwn!

What's with the Motorbike and him not holding the handlebars? Every shot of that thing so far has shown nothing of hands. Is there something I'm not seeing there? Or did they really just not include hands?

I find it laughable that they made a game THAT complicated and good looking, but the main character has no hands when driving.

Does he not have hands on ladders either? See, I found that somewhat acceptable and understandable in the first game, but not to have it in the second, considering the technology you're working with, is simply stupid.

it would be weird considering you can climb up the ladder while facing away form the ladder... be kinda weird to look at hands grabbing at the sky... plus getting the animation to match up with the ladder itself....

Yeah, they can do all this but they could never come up with the simple and obvious fixes for the problems you've suggested.

Realistically you should see your torso and legs just by looking down, but like every other FPS out there you dont. When you look down (even at for eg. a chair you're supposed to be sitting in) you see nothing. So effectively you're a gun and detached pair of arms floating through a level...

Jim, those aren't simple reflections, I think I'm too far from the water to see the ripples and waves right.

[edit]Ok, now I see what you mean. I set the reflections to "Reflect All" instead of "Reflect World." Also turned on 8x AF. What a difference! :)

It took me about 14-15 hours on easy mode. I'd estimate about 20 or so for medium.

OMG someone needs to change the dialog for Breen with a more Sean Connery like inflection, then the Game would be on par with Metal Gear 2 (not solid2) for Sean Connery look alike award.

Yes the Game is indeed very short (or you just never want it to end). However if you take a deep breath and explore you might find a few surprises and playing spot the G-man isn't just for counter culture hackers anymore.
