No, short is like 6 hours or less like Call of Duty. HL2 sounds medium or so.

i just need to order my sound card and speakers cuz i don't want to play without sound!!!!!!!!!! Approximatly how long is the game? Is it as short as Halo 2?

The content of the game more than makes up for any problems you may have with the length of the game.

I personally like Reality better.

The walls in most of the screenshots I've seen so far look too flat. A little bump mapping or something would've fixed that.

This game rocks.

Btw, right-click on Half-Life 2 in Steam - Properties - Launch Options and add
-console

This will get rid of the ingame main menu scene and speed up the loading of the game.

The game automatically picks which direct X to use.

Directx 7= flat walls
Directx 8= over the top bumpmapping, much more noticible in screenshots
Directx9= realistic bump mapping that isn't very obvious in screenshots but looks great ingame
