actually, I caught a disease called Giardia. They put me on so many antibiotics that it killed all the bacteria in my body. Unfortunately, you need SOME bacteria and during that process I somehow got an infection in the scrotal piercing. My immune system couldn't fend it off, so I had to take it out and apply an ointment to it daily.

The likelihood of catching anything as serious as Giardia is quite low. Body piercing is an adrenaline rush. I recommend it to anybody who can take a little pain. So why wouldn't I recommend it?
