Well if it makes you guys feel any better, it turns out that I am now officially just 'friends' with said girl. So there will be no guitar playing or celebration of any kind tomorrow. Oh well.

That's exactly what happens if you reveal your feelings at the wrong time. Timing is critical. And hints are a bad idea, too. Of course, all this depends on how much "romancing" you're actually capable of.

Well, I went to an anti-Valentines Day party last night at a friend's of a friend's house. He was a physics major. It started off a little slow, but then some NIN and liquor was added, and it was a good time. I met a TA from Uni who has access to a lot of stuff, and just chilled the night away with her. It was an amazing party.

aww, I had a good day, despite the fact that I don't have a valentine and I was sick as a dog. The party was fun- we just sat around and talked, goofed around, and ate a lot and watched Eddie Izzard (I can probably recite his whole show by now).

[edit]okay, this is now the best valentines day ever- I just managed to convinced my dad to randomly order me chinese food since I'm sick. hells yeah. that's all it takes to make me happy, really.

My gift won't arrive until later this week. :(

On the upside, she said I can come over to her house when I get it. This is probably attempt #3. Last time I talked with her, she said she wasn't comfortable around me just yet, even though she liked the way I made her feel. Now, she's apparently ok with it. I hope that's a good thing. :o

Well, I can go to a gathering of depressed people and get drunk, just go to the student's union or stay at home and listen to music.

The first one seems like a silly idea as I can be depressed on my own, I don't need my friends to encourage it, they should be doing the opposite.

The union involves having a shave and catching a bus and I don't actually know who's going.

Staying at home and doing nothing is probably easiest.

I'm torn between the last two choices.

Some guy in my Bio class did the sweetest thing! He gave those mardi gras beads out to all the girls in class. Even though I'm alone, those beads made me happy! yay for stuff!
