Just got back from seeing it, and...wow. Sin City is one of the most ****ed up movies I've seen. ****ed up in a good way, however. Seriously, though, I wouldn't say everyone should see it. Especially those who don't want to watch dismemberment, beheadings, various forms of castration, and crooked cops being made into human Pez dispensers. But if you like these things, plus armies of gun-toting hookers, smelly yellow perverts, and cannibals, then you should definately see this movie now.

YES! I saw it today and it was amazing. Definately one of the best films I've ever seen.

Michael Madsen's character was one of the most human characters that I've ever seen portrayed on screen. I connected with his character deeply.

The art style of this film makes it alone worth seeing. Great stuff.

I've never read the books (I really want to know), and though my friends who have told me the movie deviated very little, I found some scenes very Tarantino-esque as far as violence goes. Just a touch over the top.

Otherwise, a very solid film. I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10.

2 thumbs WAYYYY up. saw the midnight showing last night with bryan it rocked!

I have so many quotes I gotta use from that movie now. badass movie! bryan started calling up all his friends after it finished which was about 2am to tell them all to get their asses up the next morning to go watch it. everyone that bought tickets I told them they'd love t. the movie is GREAT. GO WATCH IT PEOPLE. u wont regret it

Hopefully this isn't one of 'the best movies you've ever seen' like a couple other titles you've mentioned. Ehhh...

But I've heard nothing but good things. Too bad I'm too cheap to go to the theater.

Max Payne + Dick Tracy = Sin City

Loved it. Kept expecting a V with a needle across it to pop up somewhere in the movie...

I heard from a group of about 16 people that this movie sucked - a lot.

Maybe they just aren't into the culture.

I loved it because I haven't seen a great film noir-esque movie for quite some time. The film harkened back to the 1930s, 40s and 50s noir films, and I loved every frame of it.

As for the nudity, start acting age 16 and realize that nudity isn't such a bad thing (do you shield your eyes when you come out of the shower, or wear a bathing suit while in there?). Don't waste $8 on a film you'll end up hating simply for the nudity. Its rated R, the movie doesn't want you!

what? i mean, im a guy... the thing is I dont CARE about seeing guys naked like in the locker room, but this is likely a GIRL their showing... my mother wouldnt like that... Although she and dad are gonna go see it once I get better. (i have a cold)

Expect a very Humphrey Bogart-esque narration with shades of Max Payne's poetic nature, combined with lots of violence, and hot girls.

Just breasts, there's no really full-blown frontal nudity. You're 12, you shouldn't see it anyway.

Goldie, Marv's Parol Officer, and I think most of the hookers show some sort of nudity. With Gale, they used the Black and White to 'hide her nipple' It was weird, but cool how they did it.

Well, they don't actually show the guy eating people. Nor do you actually see the guy's genetalia being ripped off. You see a brief flash of indestinguishable yellow flesh.

I hate how people refuse to see movies based off scenes that are no longer than a minute, and in the case of the latter, no longer than four seconds.

I remember, many months ago, when I first posted the trailer in a thread titled "It's gotta be a Sin to live in this City", so many people thought the movie was going to be stupid.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.
