I join server #1, I start to play. I start off the round by purchasing the second shotgun (The non-pump one). There is one terrorist left, and I shoot him in the face. Next round starts and I get kicked. WTF? I rejoin and I say "Why the hell did you kick me?" Some guy gets on his mic and goes "Because you were using the noobcannon!" so i say "The gun is in the game to be used, what the hell?" so on his mic he mimics me "But the gun is wahh wahh Shut the hell up, I'll ban you forever you f***" So I decide to purchase another gun this time. I just get a pistol. The first guy I see I shoot at and kill. It was the admin. he perma bans me from the server. WTF?!

I join server #2 it was playing scoutsknives. so a guy comes up to me and I no-scope him. After I die I just kind of go "weee. noscope." and all of a sudden I have a rush of nerds on their mics. "Dude, that isn't hard at all" "Yeah any noob can do that" "Stop being an ***, you think your so hot" so I go "I know, I was just saying...you know". "Yeah okay. Whatever." Next round starts and I noscope another guy. Immediatley half the server "WTF! Hacks! This guy hacks! Your such a hacker dude! This is the second time you've done that!" and I go "I thought you said it wasn't hard?"....banned

Server #3 was fun. I decide to do a bit o snipe snipe so I buy the AWP and go at it. I kill two people and the admin goes "WTF dude! That is so cheap! What the hell is wrong with you! Do it again and I'll kick you." What the crap?!

So I can't use a shotgun, I can't use a sniper rifle, almost all the servers ban the shield and pistol....What the crap?! This is why I quit in the first place. The people that play are morons. I only play when I have friends over now, but I thought I might try to play on a server tonight due to bordem. Nope. Not gonna happen.

I gave up on CS long ago. Everytime I played it was the same old crap and it just made me mad. I play to have fun, and CS stopped being fun.

That's why I don't understand why if admin's don't want guns on their server, they don't just block them. It's not hard...

Don't know why they leave it open, then you purchase it only to get yelled at.

That happens to me in Soldat a lot.

You need to learn how to lay low. I play CS all the time and I'm never the target for that kind of BS because I don't make myself one. Don't overuse the autosniper or the AWP. Don't be cocky about your kills. You get the idea. If all else fails, it's not difficult to find another server.

I would only play online on the Massassi server. Which hasn't existed for a little while now.

It'll be coming back by the end of August though! Once I get moved into my new apartment in Montreal and get signed up and running with my new ISP.

I found HL2DM more entertaining than CS:S

and with normal CS, only play on the VAC servers. then poeple wont see you as a hacker as much.

also, I wish i was good enough at CS to be falsely accused of hacking.

also, shields are lame. they are actualy banned in proffesional competitions you know.

That's why I stopped playing online PERIOD. Not because playing on a 56k isn't easy, but because the people flat out SUCK.

The auto shotgun is easy to counter. The AWP however...

They're banned because they can be used for absolutely ridiculous strategies than ensure a win every time for CT.

That's why I never started playing CS in the first place. Never had the problem in any other games I play.

Maybe sombody reading about Roman war tactics and tried it with their buddies with the shields... lol I can see it now.. a bunch of CTs with shields on all sides marching slowly toward the bomb site

I had a situation like that in Call of Duty. I was playing Cassino and it was 2 vs 2. I had a sniper rifle and I was up in that little snipers nest with the box of panzerfausts. Well, twice, some guy from the guild that owned the server made a racket as he came towards the base of the stairs and I simple blasted him both times. Now, he didn't use leet speak or anything like that but he did ask that I stop. I thought that was kind of stupid, but after a little arguing with him I switched over to a Thompson and riddled him repeatedly. >: )

Play Day of Defeat. Less talking/whining, more killing.

Server 1) I can kinda see that. I hate the nubcannon with a PASSION (hold down the trigger and watch the bodies fly) but I don't usually let people get close enough to use it. Regardless, they should have banned it if they don't want it. The pistol bit is bull****.

Server 2) Straight up stupid stuff.

[url]www.hardgaming.com[/url] Their servers are hard. I really mean hard. They always have people from CPL and Cal-M and I playing there. But they're fair, they're fun, they won't ban you for using a weapon, etc.

But I must say the shield is banned for a reason. A wall of metal while it may be a 'good tactic' is just so insanely cheap and impossible to counter it's not used in leagues such as Cal and CPL (or at least not CPL, I can't remember about Cal).

Well actually you shouldn't ever have to 'lay low'. Basically my favorite guns are the M4, the AWP, the Deagle and occasionally an AK. But by far I use the AWP more than anything--I've got something like 300 kills with it on one server alone. If they don't like the way you play, find a server that doesn't mind, has cool admins, and stick with it (why I stick to [H] servers.)

Well no, it just pissed them off, and they'd die because they'd all go after me, and my team mates would just get them from the sides or behind, this was on compound...

They were like "Sucky n00b, be a diversion!"

And I was all... "Well.. Flashbangs piss people off, pissing people off is a diversion, right?"

Really, I don't care about my score.. it's the Team's score that matters.. it's a team effort.


Flashbangs really only work if one person throws them, and the rest of the team closes in.

It can be pretty hard for one person to close that much distance.

This is what differs in your average, lame or okay player and the guys who make it into leagues. In pubs, it doesn't matter whether or not the team wins, really. The only reason it matters is moneys. Other than that, why do you care so much if the team does well? I know of very few servers whose progression include the team's performance. Basically you're trying to milk the teamplay out of a game where everyone you play with you don't know. Just remember also: the better you do, the better chance your team has of winning.

At least that's how I see it. Connection Problem may or may not back me up on that.

Leagues, however, are a WORLD apart from pubs.

They're banned because the people that have been playing CS every day since release realised that *gasp* the shield actually offers new strategies and tactics and they can't just follow the same robotic regime every single round any more.

The shield is only useful if the CTs can play as a team, with three or four guys with shields protecting guys behind them. This gives a whole new strategy for how CTs can tackle hostage maps, where Ts are holding the hostages and defending them and CTs have to assault the base. I thought it was a thoroughly interesting addition, breaking up the boring predictable routine play.

CS can be fun, but the cheaters and people who only use the AWP and have those god damn AWP scripts piss me off.

Ya know, I'm surprised they haven't updated the shield somewhat by now. It'd be a fair tool if it eventually broke down from gunfire. That way someone could use it temporarily as a quick diversion tactic (quick flashbangs?) so the rest of the team could rush in.
