An interesting experiment between Massassians?
We should work out the order, west to east, then overseas? That way it will never cost that much, (since it's only shipped to the next state or so over until it reaches the east) especially if it remains in letter size.
Shipping in the US is going to be the same cost, no matter how far it goes.

I'll do it. I live right by Wolfy, se he's probably in too. I'll deliver the package to him myself.

Whoever sends me the package must swear on their mother's kneecaps that it's not a bomb though.

That'd be interesting. Although, I doubt anyone trusts me, but oh well. Heh.

I'm up for it.

Though if it's a bomb, I swear, I am so coming back to haunt your *** until you die.

Yea, we'll get away with mailing a bomb these days.. :p

Hrm I wonder... Let's blow him up.

Sounds like fun.
I'm in New Zealand, so it could come here before or after the Aussies.

Well, I was looking through my stuff and found a 10x10 hard cover drawing book. It's not terribly big or heavy. Also, it has lots of room for writing, pictures and things in it. But I'm wondering, are people able to ship this to another member? Like, get it into a package and mail it?

Something smaller? Any suggestions?

Take it to the post office and have them weigh it... if it costs more than a couple bucks to ship it somewhere in the country, people are going to be whining about it.

I'm in. But first we have to coordinate useing Google maps. If we live in the same city we could just drive it.

Cool idea, but, um, who's gonna keep the book when everyone has signed it?

AFAIK there's still a huge contingent here in Toronto/Southern Ontario. We could have a meet, take some pics, and mail it forward.

TORONTO SMASH!

Seriously, we used to have like 12 massassians from Toronto. Wha happened? Original Massassimap had toronto jam packed.

So what would happen when it's done? Send it to the Smithsonian?

If we do do it, send it to me before Nightwind >.> <.< so I don't pay shipping (he lives half a mile away). actually, I wouldn't mind, as long as its not outrageous.

I'll do it, but you won't be able to read my handwriting.

And I'd probably draw something inappropriate.

Any Albertan massassians? Maybe we could just pass it around as well.
2005-10-16, 3:23 AM #63
I think a diary would be the best thing to send around. You doodle, scribble or whatever on one page each, and maybe you can have one page that everybody signs.

It doesn't really matter who keeps the book, but it MUST be scanned page-by-page for everyone.

-_-

I'm in. I'm not sure who I'm comfortable giving my address to, however :)

We should give it to Brian as a Christmas present from Massassi! It wouldn't be a surprise, obviously, unless he misses this thread, but it would be cool.

Are there many people that massassians are comfortable giving their address to?

I can only think of about 7.
nope.

2005-10-16, 8:25 PM #69
Heh, I may have been lurking for a while, but this idea actually seems interesting. Each page should have a picture of that Massassian on the page somewhere, then whatever else they want to put on it. I may actually go along with this.

Fantastic idea! And yeah, it should definitely go to Brian at the end, after someone scanning it all for the rest of us to keep.

I can't see why anyone who's been here for more than a year would have trust issues, not like everyone's gonna get your address anyway. I think there's about 7 members here who know mine anyway...

No, actually, I really can't blame anyone who doesn't want to give their address to someone on the internet. If any of you read other forums (genmay?) then you'd know that giving your address to the wrong person will make your life hell. Hilarious for those who watch, but frightening for the victim.
2005-10-17, 7:49 AM #77
there are a few massassians I trust.

I know Sami's[Morpheus's] address so thats one person i could send the book to.

James Bond or Maeve lives kinda near me so I could get the book from them.

Unless GoY sent me it instead, after all he sends me dirty text messages all the time >.>

I'm all for giving it to Brian, but will he actually get it by Christmas time?

And about the addresses: can't the thing just be sent to the post-office, and the Massassian can pick it up from there? Some post offices do that.
