Found a wallet today...

Do what you think is right, JC.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Why wouldnt you keep it? Someone lost their wallet somehow, sucks to be them they should keep better track of their possessions. Plus no identity. Dont go through any trouble, make yourself a little happier.

The thing is, there's a ****load of money in there, in different currencies. There's $900 (!!!) US, 14 British pounds and $70 Canadian. There's a bus pass and some business cards.

I feel so bad for whoever this belongs to. I wish there was an address somewhere in there so that I could return the damn thing, I mean, it's a LOT of cash. But then again, I wouldn't mind keeping it.

Moral dilemma here, folks.

ZOMG. I have an idea. You and Seb get your asses down here this weekend so we can parté! DRUNKARD TIME!

I'd keep it, but then again I'm sick and twisted.

I'd say try as hard as you can to find the person. If not, divide the money among your favorite British, American, and Canadian Massassians :p

Oops, missed the part about the atm card. I would definitely take it into the bank and have the account owner contacted. Seriously, do the right thing. Having been dealt a few crappy hands in a row doesn't entitle anyone to keep someone else's property.

However, if it had a police badge in it or something then I would definitely say keep it ;)

Indeed. I think I'll head to the bank on Monday, I don't have the time today.

Aw man, that's so tempting. :o

And my guess is that the wallet belongs to some rich foreign exchange student from McGill (university in the area). And in Montreal, I'd say probably half of the people my age don't have a driver's license. Public transport FTW, yo.

I would certainly hate to lose my wallet like that, but... uh.

Use it well.

Use it for good.

take out most the money then hand it in, just to be a little bit moral.

They wouldn't put that much cash in it.

In most cases, if you turn it in to the police and no one claims it after a certain amount of time, you get to keep the money.

Obviously this would leave you nervous about their crookedness too, just leave your number, they can pass it on to the owner, who can then call you.

Actually, you can keep the cash. At least, that's how it works in Canada. If nobody claims it for a week or something, the police give it back to however turned it in.

So... seriously, what you gonna do with the cash? Buy some games, or an upgrade?

If you decide to keep (or are given by whoever) the money then you should come to YORK for a massive piss up and copious amounts of dirtydirtymansecks!

You know it's what you want!!

Well Jess is going out of town to her parent's so I'd actually be free. I know, with that money we can rent a drum for a day (like 70$) and Jam and Drink and WHoo!

Well since there's business cards in it's probably smart to contact the businesses and see if anyone lost a wallet.
