I'm gonna have to go with everybody else as well. You sound like you like her, even if it is as a friend, but where do you think relationships start from? I mean, so there weren't fireworks going off in your head when you met her. That doesn't really mean anything. A relationship will grow if you just give it the time and effort, and I think it wold be a better relationship than one based solely on an initial infatution or attraction.

Hehehe. Like Sok Monkey said, there's always a chance that something could develope while being friends first. My GF and I were pretty close friends for about a year before anything ever happened.

Perhaps this wasn't made clear, but I'm fully aware and agree with a lot of the arguments being made here. I'm not closing any doors. I just told her how I feel now and I don't want her getting any hopes up that I just need the time or whatever. Relationships of any kind don't work by setting up conditions. I'm not sure how I can make myself clearer on the matter.

As for comments about Firefly -- I don't think she disliked it, I think she just really wanted to play SoulCalibur 2. She actually suggested doing both at the same time and I was all "we'll just play SoulCalibur 2" because you don't multi-task when Firefly is on
