I never said it was ok, I'm trying to explain to you what the difference is.

I had sex at 14. I think I don't hold sex before marriage in great value.

I never said it wasn't okay. And I still don't understand what the difference is.

I'm not a religious person but can relate to many of the religious in that I'd rather be with a woman that has slept with no other man, than a woman that has slept with many. I've had enough meaningless sex in my life to know that once you meet that special someone, the pussy really is on a pedestal. You kids will understand once you begin to live your lives for something other than yourselves.

the story of the emotional content of sex:

"oooh, horny"

*humphumphump*

"aaaah, better"

has always been this way for me, never noticed any emotional ties, never thought sex was something special... its just like masturbation but with more tools to get you off.

I always thought that you should wait to have sex, then, well it just kind of happened with my girlfriend after we had been together a few months. I don't think I hold the same emotional feelings about it after having done it as opposed to before hand. I mean, it's alright, but it's certainly not the transcending, powerful experience I was led to believe.

I put a lot of time and effort into her in that regard, and she comes away satisfied afterwards. The thing is, she never really does anything for me, so I get bored trying to entertain her as my needs are left unmet :(

(yeah that might be too much info, but my life sucks)

Well, if you don't think it's wrong, you don't think it's wrong... Pretty simple.

The gay thread was funny. I was amazed how many people tried to use it as a platform to flame about the issue. The point of the thread was how stupid the people who flame each other about homosexuality are. Like I said, the moment people see the word "gay" they go bonkers.
2006-08-07, 8:43 AM #65
View on pre-marital sex aside, I tihnk I would be pretty hurt if someone had sex with me to scratch an itch so to speak rather than because they were attracted to me.

Tsss. You gave it a good headstart with a rant of your own. And then you simply sit back and go 'oh my, look at them go', because you've already said your thing.

Marraige has never been a criteria for me regarding sex. I think that if two people care about each other, both want to do it, and take proper precautions, then go for it.

My stance exactly.

And if people want to do the occasional one night stand, fine. It's very different though and you're not going to get the same kind of 'satisfaction' from it.

I had hope the rant would have a slightly diffrent focus, though. Then I remebered massasi, and the fact that once Gold said his piece the thing would go to pot.

Who was saying that we sometimes have an instinct to kill? Who's to say that all instinct is okay? Is it logical to assume that everything we do naturally is okay?

I don't think that's a very good analogy. Animals don't kill on instinct to kill. They kill on instinct for food. Humans do the same thing. Albiet, a certain group of people does the killing, and then other people do the eating. But the anlogy doesn't really fit.

Oh, and Sugarless. I have an itch....

Some animals kill for the hell of it, just like some animals have sex for the hell of it.
