I remember going to E3 with Kiramin, Alexei Novikov, and Kedri. That totally rocked. I remember sitting in my room when I was in the AF, typing the very first page of Massassi. I remember getting excited when I got 100 hits, then a thousand, then ten thousand, then a hundred thousand, then hundreds of thousands per day.

I remember first joining Massassi when it had the "old" forums (I don't know what exactly it was called); the kind that displayed each response to a "thread" as an indented repeat of the thread title. It seemed like a lot of thread titles were simply a short question/comment ending with "(nt)", meaning there was nothing else in the message.

It changed to the current style (the UBB/vbulletin type) shortly afterwards. Man, that was a LONG time ago.

Anyone else remember Septic_Yogurt? I think that was his name...Didn't know him, but the name was..memorable.

I also remember blujay publicly chewing out/permabanning some idiot named "Shoebox" that signed up and immediately started causing trouble and picking fights, or something. that was hilarious.

I didn't say I had no love for the new crew. The old guys just helped me start the site and run it for what it was meant for. Now that purpose can easily be handled by Massassi alone because there aren't enough people for one site, let alone multiple. It's the same reason there's no front page on TJS.

now look. i would have kept it the same, with the spelling mistakes, and size, but there was this hole clause added "signatures...blablabla...3 lines long...blablabla... no annoying colors", and i think it was specifically targetd to me, but i refuse to get rid of it, and i dont think that orange is an annoying color, so nuh. i reduced the size, and that is that.

i have thought about changing it, but why? it's a staple, it represents me here, people wouldnt reconise me with out it. i'm gonna keep it. if you dont like it, go learn how to turn off signatures on your usuer controll. thankyou.

I think Jep is the closest I've got left to the original crew. I remember when we ganged up on Tee to get him to make textures for us... then he went and released them to the public anyway! Well, there's Brian. But he doesn't like me.

I remember when Brian wrote that perfect octogons (or something) tutorial. And then I wrote a couple that expanded on it. And no one read any of them. Ever. And continued to 'eye-ball it'.

I remember when I realized that JED totally sucks and is all full of floating-point related issues that totally destroy anything complicated I try to build.
