Read carefully: There is a standardized, widely publicized method for determing one's raw score. A conversion table which maps that raw score to a scaled score can be purchased for each test session.
A raw score is based solely on test performance. A scaled score is based solely on the raw score. Consequently, a scaled score is based solely on test performance. This is not a difficult concept.
