It'd be more interesting to compare it to age, I'd wager a guess that most of the older people here use inverted, the younger use non-inverted.

I started on flightsims in 1990 playing Jet, forwards = down.

Or perhaps when they started gaming. I'm only 16, but I've been using computers since I was 2. Most games back then that required the mouse were inverted. Before we got a joystick I was playing X-Wing and such with the mouse.

I also started playing flying games when I was a wee child and forward = down for me too.

All my games now are mouse inverted, and if it won't let me invert the mouse, I essentially can't play it.

It's a good point, but for me only flying games need to be inverted. No other games. And I started gaming with C64.
