I'm not saying it's ok to drink and drive, Infact it's not at all. But dammit, don't go around bashing the guy because he wants to drink.
If you had any idea what we put up with on a daily basis, You would drink, too.

It's not some bs Mcdonalds job, and it's not a warehouse job, its the frickin Army. Do you have any idea what it's like to see your friends get killed left and right?

And no, Dammit, I'm not on a high horse. But seriously, you all think because we joined in a time of war that we're stupid? That is the most retarded BS I've ever heard.
Just because Snoop and I had the balls to do something none of you will is no reason to go around saying we're stupid for doing it.

Well... it doesn't really have anything to do with testicular fortitude if we think the reasoning for fighting this war is stupid. And if we think the reason for fighting the war is stupid, and you think we think that because we "have no balls" then I think... yeah.... you're stupid.

Sure, it's stupid, I agree wholeheartedly. But it's what MY country is calling on me to do, So I'm doing it.

It's not like I had a choice. Once I signed that paper my life was not my own anymore, and I realize that. But by the same token, I'm giving my life up for my service period so you can have the right to sit there and call me stupid.

Oh, shutup Bill. The penalty for not following orders, if you're in the army, is severe.

Cave Demon, does it seem like I fornicate/incest/whatever with my cousin because I am at a loss... what does shooting 'ragheads' (yes with real 'weapons' omg) have to do with anything. Is that the kind of demeanor one needs to kill stupid islamic pricks? I mean I was raised in private schools, went to prep school, then college... Never thought once about my cousin illegitimately. Grow Up.

I don't think that I ever used being in the army as an excuse (point to me where) for my DUI. To be honest I did it before I joined. Sure it is bad and people die needlessly, and I do not have a **** it attitude at all. Its was just a simple moral lapse in judgement. I lost my e4 the month I got promoted and I think about how much worse that could have been. I really don't understand why you want to crucify me or call me a stupid redneck (raised in urban michigan) for a misdemeanor offense.

As far as the guy who has an ornary father from a driver who fell asleep then trying to somehow relate that to me. Get a life.

Please stop bashing my service to provide your Freedom... It's your god given right to protest, but please not here.

Uh... this has nothing to do with me being able to call you stupid. Our army is not defending our country from incoming attacks. It's attacking another country. You're giving up your life for a service period to **** up another country that we have no buisness being in to begin with.

antony, you really don't understand, whether you hate the war or like it our country is in dire need of soldiers. Yet many soldiers join out of neccesity, to care for their families, to serve their country not to say hey I support the war. If it wasn't for us we have this thing written into our amendments known as a draft. Think about it. Now shut up.

Yeah. Our rights have not been directly threatened since the War of 1812. Even during WWII our rights were safe (although they may not have been if we didn't intervene).

So you'd rather terrorists have a haven in the middle east where their illegal activities go unnoticed until once again it 'affects' you via 9/11. Nobody is going to take our basic liberties. But its the fact that we are an organized army and our main purpose is to defend those. Even in counter-terrorist situations like Iraq.

Our country wouldn't be in dire need of soldiers if we didn't always seem to feel like invading other countries... especially when we have no good reason to invade those countries.

And don't give me that crap about no other choice. Join the national guard. They pay full college tuition too. Or you could always not dick around in high school and get good grades so you could go to college outright.

And blind allegiance to one's government regardless of opinion is idiotic.

I don't think you're qualified to make blanket statements about the effects of war upon everyone who has ever served... so don't.

I also believe that drinking because your (snoop's) friends are is a stupid excuse and just shows how little self control you have.

Somehow with every post 82nd_Fister makes he reminds me more and more of John Goodman's character from The Big Lebowski.

Hmm ask a ex-jailed person some questions...

What were the inmates like?
Was the warden a hardass?
How was the bed?
