First of all, i included lucid dreaming in there because it is very important to those of us who believe in the other things that i metioned. Im not implying that lucid dreaming is magical in anyway, but since we see dreams as a window into our psychic side, the ability to be aware that you are in a dream is empowering to us.
Horoscopes and predictions are not exact plans of what is going to happen they speak of the ENERGYS that guide the events around us. for example (the one used in your link obe-kweit)...
What this means is that your recieving an influx of "air" tuned energys, which is associated with ideas of all kinds, as well as comunication ( i forget which planet youd get these from, but i THINK it would be murcury). They like to indicate that they are good ideas, cus that sells batter, but the fact of the matter is that they could just as easily be bad ideas (jealousy, paranoia, or anything you think is good at the time but quickly lose enthuesiasm for) as it could be good, but that depends on the person.
It encourages the leo to contact old freinds with them, because as the domain of communication, air rules the telephone and the internet, as well as emails and such. Leos tend to think there there ideas are pretty hot ****, so its best for them to deal with people that are already receptive to them, rather than those who may dispute what they come up with.
I hate those little horoscopes that you buy at stores as much as anyone else, if not more
because they give a bad image to legitimate horoscopes. Determining the future with the planets (accurately) requires a hell of alot more than just knowing what sign someone is, you have to know ALOT about when the person is born (within 3 minutes of the exact time is best), and even where they are located on the earths surface. There is no way these people can mass produce these horoscopes and have anymore than a 1-3% accuracy.
Why do i belive this stuff works? i had my doubts for the longest time, till i learned to read tarot a few years ago. I have predicted new jobs, lost jobs, the arrival of my girlfreind, when i got this appartment, arrests, old freinds showing up "unexpectedly", the death of pets, the gain of much needed money at the last minute, and other things accurate to within a week of when it happened, for both me and people i know. One time i even predicted the exact day (within only 6 hours of the exact time) our car would break down out of town.
I know theres no way i can prove this to you, and doubters are going to tell me im full of ****, but this is why i believe in these things. You make your own choices and do whatever you like, but i have been convinced, and will not be swayed from it.
And before any of you give me the inevitable "if you know so damn much about the future, why are you so concerned about your gf?", i already told you in a previous post that i have not been able to read for a few months now. im hoping to read this sunday, just before the full moon, but if i cant i may not be able to for another month or so. And tarot tends to tell you what you need to know rather than what you want to know, so even if i do read, it may not tell me anything about her at all. Pushing the topic on your cards by forcing them to talk about something, broadens the result you get, reducing your ability to actually use it for anything usefull. and it never gives you a straight answer, it tells you only how the energys will flow around the events, and you have to interperet those using your own intuition, which is where the REAL skill of tarot comes from. If you force it to answer a question you have alot of emotions involved in it will often just tell you about those emotions, and those of others, which helps, but will make you feel like its avoiding the question.
People think its all fake because they are expecting results that are not what these practices were intended for in the first place.. They are guides to help you cope with and understand the events in your life by looking at them in a broader scope, and though this does mean sometimes looking into the future, it does not mean you going to get quick fixes to all your problems, or that your even (most of the time) going to be able to change things. It just makes it easier to deal with whats going to happen. Anyone who tells you different is charging you money.
EDIT: ok i was GOING to add, if you dont like my long posts, bite me... but this is a bit of a book now that i look at it. Im not apologizing though, if 15 people or going to try and debate me on the legitamates of my beliefs simoultaneously, im going to speak my mind, even if i do have to type for an hour.
