I found the fast zombies in Ravenholm to be pretty scary. I also find playing as a Marine in AvP2 was pretty scary too, just like Aliens was when watching it. :)

AVP2 was made of FAIL. AvP1 however was excellent.

Yeah AVP1 was more 'scare' oriented. Every level is tension filled (when playing as a Marine or the later Predator levels).

The gameplay was good, but I *despised* the artificial save limit.

Th engine is very dated, unfortunately; its one of those games that I can't run outside of a virtual machine. (although it at least tries to run to some extent on Wine)
