What cracks me up is that I bet 95% of these replies are from unmarried guys. Personally I say marriage is one of the greatest things you can ever do in your life. Still, you need to be ready for it. Make sure you're ready, that's all I can say. I was 25 when I got married, but my wife was 19. We dated for a year and have been married for 2 and a half wonderful years. Normally I'd say 19 is waaay to young. But she was ready.
So how do you know?
-Does she make you a better person?
-Does her family like you?
-Does your family like her?
-Does she seem to have things together? (a job, self-confidence, etc)
-Do you have it together?
Make sure you're not wanting to marry someone if they (or you) are lacking in self-confidence. It's better to wait until you're strong enough. A good rule of thumb is whether you were happy at all before you met her. If you were then you probably are self-confident. If not, she's probably a band-aid.
-There are easier things in life than finding a good woman, like nailing Jello to a tree, for instance
